I have been coming to eat here since 2013. It's been a staple for me and my family and I always bring out of town guests to enjoy the amazing rolls!

Truly excellent place that has been here in the neighborhood forever. We've been coming here or getting orders togo for a decade and it's been the same folks running it the whole time and they are superb.
2025 update - still going strong. great food and great service!

Stopped by after being picked up from OAK and so glad that I did! The Spicy Hamachi sashimi and the Maguro Fever roll were delicious and flavorful. The atmosphere was comfortable and peaceful. Will definitely come back!

Some of the best sushi I’ve had in Oakland. Great service, generous portions, fresh and absolutely delicious! GF and I shared the tempura appetizer and the Ichiban and Spicy Geisha rolls. Plenty of food for two people. Highly recommend!

We’ve been eating here for years, and the fish is always fresh and expertly prepared. We especially love the Fire Cracker Ball, Joy Roll, and Spicy Geisha Roll. Additionally, the staff is exceedingly kind. A great place to dine in or take out.

My family and I have been coming to Sushi Park for the past 7 years since we moved into the Glenview neighborhood in Oakland. This small, family-run restaurant is one of our favorite dinner spots. The staff is always so kind and attentive, and the variety of speciality rolls are great, and everyone in our family has their own favorites, ranging from advocado and cucumber rolls and salmon sashimi for my son, and spicy tuna, spicy geishi, tempura rolls and so many others for my wife and I. We also appreciate the plum wine for us and ice cream for our soon. Always such a wonderful neighborhood spot - whether we dine in or takeaway.

♿️ Sushi Park also has an accessible entrance, accessible seating, and an accessible restroom. Parking can be tough on Park at times.

Kid-friendliness: The staff is always so kind and accommodating to our family and so many of the families that eat here.

My classmates and I used to go to the on-campus spot at 1503 SW Park Ave, Portland, OR 97201, which has since closed, for tuna and salmon sushi. The flavor was great, but sushi never quite fills me up, so I’d always end up wanting more. The place had a relaxed vibe, brightly lit space, and a mix of raw fish and cooked Japanese dishes.

The sushi wasn’t fresh tasting at all. I was not impressed at all.

Overcooked mushy rice on my roll…should have checked it before leaving but needed to grab lunch quickly and head to work. I ended up peeling all the rice off…

Quaint, small business. Nice and reliable service. Big portions, fresh fish, great flavor. My only caution would be trying too many of the special rolls in the same visit. The special rolls are great, exciting, tasty, offering new combinations that you do not see on other sushi menus. However, they are complex and have multiple flavor layers which can cause the pallet to lose the essence of the simplicity of enjoying sushi for the flavor of simply raw fish.
