Tacos El Gordo in Oakland is a legit hotspot! Yeah, the area's a bit iffy, so park smart. The wait? Sometimes long, but totally worth it for those late-night cravings. Horchata's on point, and all the ingredients? Fresh as can be. Hits the spot every time. Solid 4 stars, no doubt. Keep it up!

I ordered this truck today. The truth is I didn't like it. The tortillas are all hard, the roast beef has no flavor and the lemons are all dry. The sauce tastes like Valentina sauce. Extremely stingy with the cheese and sour cream if I order extra cheese and sour cream I want extra cheese and sour cream stop being stingy with it ! It’s not coming out of your check. I seen mf pouting the inputs on food spots in the bay El Gordos got the best-selling Mexican food in Oakland an if you yk don't mess with Oakland that an that amazing crazy griddle these guys make food you think about for months the smell of there cooking makes your mouth water as you wait for your order.
I would have added the pictures but I through the food away. Food was dry, service was rude and charged $5 for one taco. Not worth my money. Not recommend!!

We got carnitas and the al pastor tacos. Both were very juicy and flavorful, with pineapple with the al pastor tacos. Carnitas was fried so had yummy crunchy bits. There is a parking lot behind the truck so there was easy parking for us.
