One of the best tacos I've had... tortilla was a little crispy soo good the meat well seasoned... I was at the White Elephant sale yesterday and after doing some shopping my mother and I got a bit hungry we decided to try this taco truck and buy some tacos, it did not disappoint... whenever I come to Oakland again and I get hungry I'll be sure to look them up again...

After dining at Tacos El Melon for the first time I knew that I had finally found the best taco truck in the bay. Authentic flavors, and quality that you won’t find anywhere else!! Plus it’s 100% family owned and ran. If you find yourself craving tacos, quesabirria, ceviche, or burritos THIS IS THE PLACE!! I promise you won’t leave disappointed. They give generous servings and salsa, chiles, cebollitas.. etc. They also have great catering services too. Do yourself a favor and check them out!!!! ?♥️

Plenty of menu options without getting overwhelmed. I have tried them twice now and I was happy with both experiences. I had the burrito and tacos de al pastor. I recommend both! Savory and not dry. The service was fast and correct. They do offer seating but it is limited, most likely it is better to plan to take the food to-go.

Best Tacos in Oakland FOR SURE There tortillas for the tacos are homemade you can taste it these are AUTHENTIC MEXICAN FOOD TACOS OKURR I wish I took pictures it was so good but TRUST me when I tell you the tacos are FIYAAAAAAA yes mam will definitely be back. Also the super asada burrito was good too. Area where the taco truck is at is sketchy like some reviews say but don't mind that, it's bomb

Where can you find excellent tortas in Oakland? Taco el Melon The carnitas torta with the slightly crispy pork carnitas is my favorite. Decent verity of Mexican sodas like Manzanita Sol and Jarritos. I like that tho location is on a cul-de-sac part of the street with plenty of parking looking into interstate 880. Perfect bite for breakfast or lunch at decent prices.

My family, friends and I all LOVE the food here. We have been slowly trying the menu and everything is delicious!! We hired Arturo and his son for their catering services and they went above and beyond for us. Truely some delicious top quality food, I would even say I prefer El Melon taco truck over Mi gruillense! Thank you guys, we always feel very welcomed here!!

Great food BEST QUESABIRRIA on International "taco" BLVD in Oakland. Clean truck, location was bit sketch but that's Oakland. Tortillas were crispy and lightly greasy like I like them. I ordered two quesabirria, one pastor and cabeza taco. Quesabirria was the shinning star but the other two tacos were very good and better than the other tacos trucks I tried along International Blvd. Friendly staff, can't wait to go back.
