The best damn tacos in Oakland, full stop. Usually carne asada is a throwaway order, bland cardboard for white people (like me) who don't know anything about Mexican food (fortunately not like me). Not here. A friend who used to be a Michelin star chef proclaimed this the best carne asada he'd had outside of Mexico, and I agree wholeheartedly. And that's not where the show stops. Super legit pastor, fire fish tacos, solid vegetarian options, and don't skip the specials--I have yet to be let down. The brisket barbacoa especially is one of my top three tacos I've had in my entire life. Get the handmade flour tortillas, it's worth the extra money. And did I mention unlimited guacamole? Show me another place with unlimited guacamole. Not to mention the otherworldly salsa matcha. Don't sleep on this spot.

I go in with friend- man there rude, very rude. His name Dominic. Treat us bad and he have attitude. But more bad- food. Expensive and no fresh. One taco have meat so hard I think it rock but it just bad meat. My friend say worst taco he have in Fruitvale and he is a Latino. We come here to this area for Mexico food and the area hard to park and very dirty like a different country. Sad it so bad here and never go again.

We had two brisket burritos and they were incredible! The ingredients are fresh and good quality. My partner who's family is from northern Mexico said these were the best burritos he's had in California. Will definitely come back!
The chef is a genius. Flavorful, charred, juicy, smoky meat on a paper thin flour tortilla. Garnish as you wish with a little salsa and veggies. So simple. It's all over in a minute, 3 bites maybe.
