Bean + cheese and jalapeño + cheese pupusas were amazing!!!! Salsa verde is also very tastyI would say comparable to los olivos on foothill and panchitas in the missionvery impressed! ❤️? went 3 times this week alone ?(there are two trucks here, this is about the purple Tamales Acapulco to the right of the parking lot)

Better than average for East Bay. The cost is $3.50. I purchase mine on April 28, 2023. I will buy them again when I am in the area.

Not like 5+ yrs ago the taste did change a bit and it seams like now they don’t add chicken. love the chapín tamales still same flavor. Oh and the Champurrado i can taste the water like most of these places seam to do this now. ??♀️
Chicken tamales and the cheese tamales were our favorites! It’s great to pick up a couple of bags of fresh tamales to take to the family for breakfast, and also pastries from Los Mexicanos bakery is right nearby.

I recently moved to Cali from Indiana. I have been looking for good tamales. This food truck exceeded my expectations. They were AMAZING!!! ?? I will be going back in the morning to get a bunch more. And the price is unbeatable, $2.50 per tamale. ??
esos tamales son muy ricos originarios del DF Mexico. aunque no traen casi nada de carne el sabor muy buenos
porque tienen muy mal servisio estan vendiendo la salsa y no es justo porque enntodos los restaurantes la regalan con la comida para llevar

The chicken mole tacos are awesome and relatively unique even in the sea of taco trucks. Pupusas are good, feel maybe a bit more standard. Strawberry agua fresca a bit on the sugary side (even as these things go) but good and refreshing.
I rarely buy tamales at food stands or restaurants but I found myself running errands around fruitvale ave in Oakland California and found myself in front of this food truck. The tamales are amazing and you just can't beat the price! My go to order is the Red Tamale and the raja con queso tamales with an agua fresca on the side. If you're lucky she might have the strawberry agua fresca but you also cant go wrong with the standard horchata. I think it's cash only but don't quote me and parking is very difficult to obtain around that busy area.
