Well, first time we went there we ordered enchiladas and taco salad,awesome. Went there Monday and had a carne asafa burrito and prawns al diabla which we both thought were disgusting, won't waste my money there again.

I reluctantly walked down the street to this Mexican restaurant. I was pleasantly surprised by the decor which was warm and welcoming. I ordered Chile Verde quesadilla that was definitely pleasing to my taste buds. The gentleman that took my order was very hospitable. Extremely nice experience.

Always drive by this place on my way home but finally tried it today while out on a walk. The carnitas burrito was delicious - meat was moist and flavorful. On my way out I wanted to buy a Jarritos but didn’t have cash, and the price was under their credit card minimum. The cashier told me to take it and pay next time I’m in. Such a nice gesture, and I will definitely be back!

The shrimp broth is very good, but the service is bad. They don't have any kind of bottled sauce, not even the most commercial Tapatio ones. And the worst thing is that they don't have bathrooms for customer service. I have never been to a restaurant without bathrooms for the customer. It is the restaurant where the dilemma for the customer is the phrase (THERE ARE NO WE DO NOT HAVE)

I have been coming here for more than 10 years, moved away from Oakland for awhile and immediately came here when I got back. I lived all over Cali and sampled nearly every burrito, my fam spent summers in Baja my entire childhood...and I have NEVER found better Carnitas

This place sells the most delicious Mexican food in Oakland, and what's even better is their prices are extremely reasonable. If I were to change anything, I just wish they would link up with one of the food delivery services available in Oakland. Being a disabled senior, getting out is sometimes prohibitive for me.

Terrible place. I ordered a buche cake and they gave it to me with carnitas. My wife asked for a chicharrón cake and they gave it to her with carnitas. And they don't respect the prices, terrible place I do not recommend it It is better to eat at a street stall

The customer service here is TRASH. The guy that sits at the front (the one that sits on his phone and doesn’t do his job) is so rude. I walked in and asked for a spoon and fork to which he paused and said “uhhhh” and waited before stating “i’m going to have to charge you for that sweetie” (which is gross on its own). Then I went and grabbed cash and he said “I don’t have change”.We’re talking about a plastic spoon or fork….So idk anything about the food but I wouldn’t eat here simply because you should be kind to people.
