Best Chili rellono in my life and I have eaten a lot
Super Burrito taste like heaven
I’m normally a chicken person but I got carne asada and it’s the best I’ve ever had
They put a good amount of meat and sour cream and guac !!!!!
Good food
Ordered tacos of El pastor the meat was dry and hard and dark like it was reheated a few times or over cooked
The food tastes fine but make sure to open your burrito before you leave to make sure you got everything. This is the THIRD time I paid for a super burrito and didn’t get any avocado. Also, they don’t know how to layer a burrito. The guy who works there will put all the sour cream on one side, the rice in the middle, and all the meat on the other side. Who wants to bite into a mouthful of sour cream? I eat here regularly but I’m not sure about that anymore. The flavor is generally good but some days the meat will be bland and/or greasy with lots of fatty chunks. I waited a while before making this review because I like to give places a fair chance except this place has let me down too many times lately. I don’t want a refund, I want my guacamole that I paid for. For what it’s worth, their green sauce is super good but watch out if you get two orders, they’ll try to skimp you on a bag of chips. Their chips are sometimes stale too. Idk if they care about their food quality anymore but I’ll probably still eat there if I’m late for work because they at least don’t skimp out on the meat.

This is exactly the kind of experience I was hoping to find when I looked for breakfast options in Oakland. After searching through many Reddit and Yelp reviews and finding most of the top rated options to be unappealing (call me old fashioned but I give automatic red flags for decor featuring day of the dead or Frida Khalo), I then randomly looked in Google maps for spots on International near Fruitvale station. The food was legit, salsas bien picosas, all the staff looked like they knew how to fashion a shank from a cardboard toilet paper roll, and the bathrooms were so clean you could eat off them if you don’t mind the flavor of pine Fabuloso. 4/5s for service and atmosphere because I believe a good Mexican food joint should be slightly divey (see El Huarachito in LA), so four stars is actually highest praise.

By far one of if not the best taqueria in Oakland. The food is great and does not pander to the hipsters. My go to is always a carne asada salad.
