This has been one of my favourite haunts in Oakland since it opened. I moved away a few years ago, but every time I'm home I make it a point to come by. Incredible food, great beer, awesome vibes. Cannot recommend enough.

A truly amazing burger. I've tried several options on the menu and they're all great. The place is definitely homey and warm but it feels a little gritty and grizzled as well. The price is a little high for a burger that may actually be worth it but, it's an important consideration. Oh yeah, they have beers too.

I love beer gardens and my group of friends and I had a great time here (AKA Telegraph Beer Garden). Lots of space, an upscale menu for a beer garden, excellent cocktails, and great service. Outdoor heaters for when the sun goes down. Highly recommend.

The food we had had, the service, and the beer were all top notch, but I was surprised by the lack of appetizers and fries. A really odd omission for bar food.
The service was awesome and everyone was super friendly. Most of the seating is outdoors, but there is a large covered section for inclement weather. They have heaters for the colder nights.
They also have a few pinball machines if that's what you're into.
Great selection of beers. Loved the hazys.
Parking can be an issue. So you might need to walk a bit.
Fun, outdoor beer garden with great food and cocktails. They usually have a choice of boozy slushies. The hamburgers are creative and very delicious.

Do you remember why you liked a good Burger.!. Or a great grilled sandwich.?!!!.. Wel come to this place and fall in love with them all over again ?... The patty melt is mind blowing.... The sweet onions and brioche bread.... Will make your taste buds love you for the rest of your life.... Go fall in love with simple perfect food again.... It's on my death row meal list.

A really decent burger before the fox theater. Beer was decently priced, slushy normal cocktail prices but that's the norm.
This is everything I love in a gathering place: no pretention, good people, good vibes, good food, and good drinks.
