As a European from France, I took an espresso, the balance between coffee and water is not good, the coffee is too strong. Then the pleasure to drink a good espresso is not there.
A real italien espresso is well balanced, never strong and never too bitter.

Really pretty location. Probably the worst espresso I've had in quite a long time. The mocha had no discernible chocolate in it either, just the sour and bitter taste of an underextracted espresso.

Tried giving this place a try every once in a while to see if they fixed their espresso issues. It’s always burnt and bitter tasting, and I’m finally giving up on them. With a +$30,000 custom made espresso machine you’d think they’d invest in learning to make decent espresso.

Solid spot for a quick stop in, space is small and quaint - enjoy your coffee in the spacious alleyway. They use local beans from Mother Tongue, also for sale on the shelves. Baked goods are from Firestarter - nothing too fancy, about 8 options to choose from and they’ll warm your pastry upon request.
Service was nice and to the point, nothing to complain about or write home to - were all just doing our best afterall
No bathroom I could see, but there is WIFI and again plenty of seating and other shops to shop in the alleyway

The two women baristas were extremely rude and the coffee was nothing to brag about. The location is great but I’ll be going out of my way to avoid getting coffee here when I plan to visit the alley. Makes me stop wanting to come here bc of them. Their attitude and their passive aggressiveness are unwelcome.

One of my favorite spots, I still make the trip as often as I can even though I don’t live in the neighborhood anymore. Coffee is great, chai is perfect, and staff is so friendly and sweet. They even give my pup a cookie every time we visit, so obviously she gets very excited when we go. :)Delicious pastries too! <3
