The best food in America. So good. I've never had anything like it in my life. Seriously, get the chicken chili, and the chow main. It's so fire

This was a lovely find! I recently moved to Oakland and was walking around, exploring a bit when I saw this place. The momos were flavorful and the the noodles were saucy, full of chicken and veggies, and I was able to eat this across two meals because the portion was generous! I used online ordering, and it was smooth and flawless. If you're looking for something new to try, why also have some familiar flavors and items, this is the place to go.

Hands down the best dumplings we ever had anywhere the fried chicken and veggie kothey (momos) are simply superb the flavors are fantastic and they are fried crispy on both sides, out of all the dumplings we have tried in different cultures these are the most incredible and the tastiest! This location has the best pricing we will be by every time we are in the area!!! Love love love!!!!

Came here for lunch and tried the chow mein / chicken momo combo. The price was amazing and the portion was pretty large! Had enough for two meals. The food was also fantastic :)

Located next to Ike's in Uptown Oakland, this is the first bricks-and-mortar outlet of a successful Bay Area food truck specializing in momos, or Nepali/Tibetan-style dumplings. The offerings will seem vaguely familiar - but differentiated enough - if you're already used to Chinese dumplings and noodles plus Indian flavors. The momos, for example, might look like xiao long bao on the outside, but here at Everest, they're far less soupy while also being far meatier, denser, and heavier. Of course, anything big and beefy is just fine with me. You can also get "combo" plates where you get a smaller portion of momos alongside rice or noodles. I chose noodles and found them to be very, very similar to the "lo mein" I'm used to at Cantonese restaurants. While slightly salty, everything is well-portioned and served super fast. Thanks Jeremy K. for bringing Everest Momo to my attention!

I have walked past this spot a handful of times & finally made it in! I cannot believe how delicious the chicken dumplings were, have been thinking about them ever since & cannot wait to try other things on the menu.!

Summary: food is good, price is nice. Momos are kinda like a soft gyoza that's been baptized in awesome sauce. Not many places serve it like this but that doesn't mean it's lacking by any means. Between the steamed and fried, I preferred the texture of fried and it felt like the filling's flavor were more pronounced.
