The food is sooooo good. I had the Rasta pasta with shrimp. My food was ready in about 10 minutes. The staff was very pleasant and catering. By the time my water got half full the bartender came by to give me a refill my drink. The owner thanked me personally for my patronage. There was music, candles, dim lights and no crowds. I loved it. The perfect place to take a date or eat alone. This is my new spot.

After moving to California for school, the Gallery Art Bar has been my home away from home. The staff is awesome, the ambiance is perfect and the food is to die for. There's no place in Oakland I'd rather be for happy hour or late night activities.

Its a blessing that this establishment is able to keep it's doors open during COVID(there are safety rules now in place of course). I was able to experience this gem before the pandemic and let me tell you... The Gallery is definitely a place where you can just truly vibe and appreciate the dope art that's inside. The place is a canvas within itself. Variations of music, wonderful DJs with a respectable set of staff that are very attentive to keep the customers happy! And the best part... They now officially serve food that you can order through Doordash. So for all the foodies out there like myself I promise you won't be disappointed(get the Snapper). Compliments to the chef for cooking up some good seasoned dishes and to the owner for the menu. So if you want great food, awesome drinks and wanna vibe & chill out be it solo or with a friend then The Gallery Art Bar is the place.

Not only do they have some of the most beautiful art on display but the atmosphere good & drinks is what will keep you! I've gotten to experience this place pre and post covid and I'm so glad it had not lost its charm! My first experience here was for a silent party that turned out amazing due to double booking earlier in the year. The vibe is wonderful and the drinks are heaven (make sure to get you a Bay Breeze). Also be sure to follow their IG for special events that also caters great food. Wonderful staff I must add. Kudos to the owners for a dope establishment.
Paid about ~400 dollars for a VIP table for my group. We stepped out towards the end of the night Just to NOT be allowed back in to use the bathroom. But security had no issue letting their buddies in. Totally unprofessional.
