My favorite restaurant in the Bay. Every dish is so creative and imaginative. The staff are so friendly and kind. And the shot dog is a hell of a deal. I love this place.

Stopped in for a quick drink before dinner. Cool vibe and the Purple Mountains mezcal creation was awesome. Will come back and stay longer next time.

Cool spot for a drink for sure. Appetizers are solid and the mains are good, but definitely overpriced. Also, bizarre that they’re still requiring a proof of vaccination and masking this late in the game and after all mandates have been dropped, especially to eat outdoors ?

There's has been a few places of businesses at this location. And I'm happy that the Lede is it's current inhabitant. I've been meaning to check this place out since the love of my life mentioned that they have this thing called a shot dog, and high is basically a hotdog with a shot of tequila and a beer. I haven't drank any alcohol since June of 2021 because I get bored and decide to change things about myself ever so often. Anyway. They were kind enough to just sell me the dog, it's served with sour Kraut, mustard, in a bagel bun and let me tell you. THIS 100% BEEF DOG IS WHAT IT IS. They also have a bunch of cute snacks and stuff and decent sized plates to settle your hunger. The severs are amazing and super nice. And the mural they have painted is amazing and super cute. This place is super cute lol I would come more often if I drank, because lord knows I can only have so many damn hot dogs in a week lol Check them out! It's totally worth it to have a happy hour drink, come have a meeting, or just work in a lively but not super loud atmosphere. :)

The Lede is the best! I rented out their parklet for a birthday party, and I’m so happy I did. All I had to do was pick out the menu and The Lede took care of the rest! My guests loved trying all the cocktails, and the Caesar eggs were a crowd favorite. Our server was very attentive and freshened up the food and drinks so we never ran out of anything. I highly recommend The Lede for parties or to treat yourself to a night out.

A super hip little spot with tasty drinks, yummy bar bites, and a great happy hour! I dropped by for happy hour a few weeks ago and it did not disappoint! The Lede has a very inviting patio parklet that's spacious and heated. It seemed to be the hot spot for most of the folks that were there when I first arrived, so I opted to sit inside. The indoor setup is very classy with some beautiful wall art. I really like their sky-high ceiling and large open windows. It gives the place a very open and airy feeling. There's a cute little upstairs area that looks like it used to be a second bar at some point (probably from the previous owners). You can sit up there and admire the views down below. This is precisely what I did and it was super relaxing. The bar is kind of a self-service setup where you place your order and open your tab at the kiosk. What's nice is that even though the bartenders don't take your order initially, they'll still come around frequently to see how you're doing, and you can order more items with them (they'll just add it to your current tab). They have free popcorn (woo hoo!) too. I mean... how could I ever say no to that?! They've got a great looking cocktail list and their happy hour deals are awesome. Happy hour is currently offered here Monday through Friday from 4-6:30 (their menus still list their old happy hour times which at one point lasted until 7 pm. I ordered the olives, oysters, and soft pretzel and also had a happy hour glass of red wine and their delicious Love Fuzz cocktail. The cocktail was bangin'! Not only was it esthetically pleasing, but it tasted marvelous. Also really enjoyed the fresh oysters. The olives were a bit on the acidic side and the mustard for the pretzel was really pungent, but both were still pretty tasty. Service was stellar from the moment I walked in until the minute that I left. You can really tell that everyone enjoys working there and it was so refreshing to witness. It seems to get livelier later on in the evening and they dim the lights to set the mood. I was diggin' it for sure. Date night vibes all up in that bih. Loved the atmosphere! They also have rotating restaurant pop-ups on the weekends and on a few random weekdays. They were selling citrus chiffon cake from Sesame Tiny Bakery while I was there. It sounded delicious but it ended up being waaaay too tart for me. It was the grapefruit. Not sure why I ordered it since I don't like grapefruit, but at least I tried it. That's no fault of the bar, of course. They actually offer their own desserts and I think that I'll stick with that menu next time. I think I've found a new happy hour and after work night cap spot here. I really enjoyed my visit and I'm excited to try out more of their cocktails and bar bites soon.

I came to the Lede for happy hour and I loved the ambiance. There's good outdoor seating with fire pits. The drinks were pretty good and the happy hour snacks were delicious, especially the warm olives.

Originally we were going to Mama's but the line was down the block. I was edging into hangry territory so we didn't want to wait. I'm so glad we found The Lede instead! I took previous reviewers' suggestions and got the banana granola pancakes. They were amazing!! The service was fast and there was no wait for a table. The perfect breakfast combination!

I live in the neighborhood and have been waiting for someone to make this interesting space work. Really glad to see The Lede here now. It's a great spot for creative cocktails and small plates with a chill vibe. Sophie is super-fun!

Their “shotdog” combo is amusing. The drinks are just fine; the hot dog is… eh… The interior is nice though, and the patio is great.

After seeing gorgeous photos of the Lede's food and drinks on Instagram, my wife and I hit them up last night for date night and had a great time. Great cocktails. Short, well curated wine list. Oysters were fresh and briny And there was a toast / tart one that we had that was amazing. Will be happy to go back
