Instant classic! Main dining room with the SF monks bar! Baller. Returning for that burger today and oh man….those fries! Not sure how long the octopus and gigante beans will be on the menu- as I’m sure these gastropub heroes will be switching the menus up on the regular, but get it while you can. Hands down the best and most tender I’ve ever had. Paired with a ice cold glass of the Sauvignon Blanc, which I know is a bit of sacrilege (since they for sure have an amazing beer pairing in their walk in keg room) delicious- lucky us!

Love the outdoor patio! The veggie curry was delicious. Great beer selection, great service. So excited to have The Monk’s Kettle on this side of the Bay. Already looking forward to our next visit (and the Impossible burger).

Fantastic addition to College Avenue. TMK has a great selection of beers on tap--a perfect mix of local craft brews and tasty imports. Excellent snacks, salads, and entrees, too, with fast & friendly service. Nice to see their impressive wooden bar shelves relocated from SF to Oakland! Looking forward to checking out their new patio as well.

Monk’s Kettle was one of my favorite beer bars in SF. I’m so happy that they’ve perfectly translated it to their new location in Rockridge. Amazing beer list and a standout burger.
