This is a little gem that I found in Oakland! Nicole is the best person at this establishment! She knows my allergies and accommodates to my needs. You can hardly see any place that gives you a warm welcome and accommodates to your food needs. Highly recommend this place!

The chicken sandwich is very basic nothing special. I wanted to like it but there was nothing to really like. Its just average at best. Honestly they couldnt even come close to what chick fil a serves. Service is slow because they are way understaffed. Only thing got going is the food is organic thats it. After finishing the food it didnt sit very well in my stomach. Easy pass for me

Was walking around the area looking for something to eat that wouldn't be too heavy and negatively impact energy levels before the weekend. Nearby food establishments are mostly fast food. Organic is stapled across the entire suite. Girlfriend and I decided to both order the chicken wrap lunch box (chicken wrap, salad, cookie). Amazing taste. Chicken wasn't dry, but instead tasty and fulfilling. Wrap dressings were light and mouth watering. Seriously, try this place. Will let the photos speak for themselves. Nicole was the only employee and gave us very knowledgable advice on the menu and popular items. She was very kind, and made the experience more enjoyable.

I like the ambiance of the location along with the esthetics of the food and how it's presented. I wish the food taste as good as it looks. The Cole slaw is ok but the chicken lacks flavor overall. There's a Pop eye's near The Organic Coup and they should be constantly competing by there's no denying flavor.

This place was such a huge disappointment. I figured I'd give it a try for lunch since I wanted something healthy. I ordered the " chicken bowl with avocado and cost myself $17.00. I was expecting a chipotle like meal with rice and veggies, but all I got was coleslaw with chicken .. I did not enjoy the flavor and was very sad that I paid all that money for slaw.. I don't ever see myself coming here again and I think it's very unfair to charge that much.

I guess during these times of struggle the employees or manager at this location doesn't care much for customer service. Seems they'd rather focus on other personal task and scold customers on why they did not use the terminal to place an order when they see us standing in line at the register.Maybe we had a question about the menu which is why we lined up in the first place. Good to know because myself and colleagues will take our business elsewhere.

Hi, I just wanted to document my experience today at organic coup, when I first walked in I was greeted right away, which to some isn't a big deal but to me means alot, the nice lady Stephanie also greeted me by name which makes it a personable experience, my order came out great as usual and most importantly I felt like I was more than a customer, thank you organic coup and thank you Stephanie!

The advertising claim is America's first USDA certified organic fast food. Today I ordered online and sure enough it was ready on time. Yesterday I ordered in store using their self service iPad and waited approx 5 minutes. Save time and order online. The order:Crispy chicken bowl - crunchy chicken strips over a bed of cold slaw. I picked the sesame ginger dressing. Very nice combination cabbage was crunchy and tasted fresh , Chicken was cooked well almost dry but with sauce I still enjoyed it. Corn dog - crunch on the outside and hotdog was not dry or over cooked. Dipped it in some mustard and yum. Chicken tenders with tater tots. - The tater tots are the star of this lunch. Use the spicy dip/sauce and you will be back the next day. Chicken tenders (select 2 or 3) are a decent size, I was full with the 3. Overall, I am glad we still have this organic option for lunch and I will be back.

I am a little biased as I work here but the food is always wonderful!

I used to go to the pleasant hill location once a week a couple of years ago when i used to work in Pleasant Hill. I was very excited when i found out they opened a location in oakland because i live in east bay and i no longer had to drive over once my cravings hit when i left my old job, and the pleasant hill location closed. I've gone about 30 times in the last 3 years and almost every time, there has been an issue with my order. I've ordered off the app, in person pick up, and through grub hub pick up. I really did love the organic coup and would rather spend my money there instead of other fast food joints, even when there's never parking! I think by now i've given them a fair shot. I usually have an issue with either the sandwiches, wraps, and tots. i always order the garlic tots (i do love them when they remember to add the garlic) and they always forget my sauce. Even on my wraps and sandwiches, no sauce! It gets dry eating it if there isn't sauce. It's a real shame because i used to RAVE about the Organic Coup. The last time i went (last weekend) 3/3 of my orders was wrong. Be sure to check the stapled bag before you leave!

In the Plaza at 1300 Clay, there are two spots that you can go to for a chicken sandwich. One of them, you need a science background to pronounce their ingredients, and the other is The Organic Coup. Prices are reasonable, the food is delicious, and it's certified organic. On top of that, staff members Stephanie and Sabrina are always super friendly and make it a pleasure to stop by. They also are open at 8am for several breakfast options - $3.99 for a breakfast sandwich, $5.99 for a burrito, $6.99 chicken and waffles. You owe it to yourself to try them!

One of the few restaurants in the Oakland City Center open during COVID 19. Presenting nearby residents and workers with a healthy alternative to Subway, Popeyes, and Panda. While pricier than its surrounding fast food neighbors, each sandwich and salad I've purchased from this location was fresh. The employees have also been very friendly in each of my visits, taking the time to explain differences between the sauce offerings. They were very appreciative of customers choosing to spend their money here during COVID 19

I have specifically have been trying to order delivery during this COVID-19 period just to do my part to help the economy. I heard great things about the Organic Coup so I decided to get my lunch delivery there. I ordered chicken tenders, tater tots, and extra chicken tenders. Everything was HORRIBLY over cooked and even burnt. I can't even imagine how any business would consciously send out food like that and call it edible! I wish I never even tasted it to determine if it was ok. Absolutely disgusting

I've been to this restaurant several times and never got a bad order until yesterday! my order was a total disaster the chicken was cold the bread was soaking wet along with a half a** portion of coleslaw, i should have followed my gut instincts, i don't trust the two guys that (they looked Shady) was preparing my order and will never go back again until there are better cooks preparing a good product, what a waste of good money
