Saw a review on TikTok and I really wish these influencers would stop lying .. wasting folks money and be real.
This was the worst breakfast I had and ordered something very simple. I thought the shrimp & grits was over priced at $24 while the traditional bacon, eggs was half the price.
They charge gratuity automatically which is whatever. But the up charges on oatmilk .. and sliced cheese for the eggs was ridiculous imo.
First & last time being here

I have now been here twice, and they recently changed the menu which I feel was a bad move. I don’t know if they’re trying to cut prices or what but the new menu is not it. They have also seemed to eliminate the waiters/waitresses, which is very impersonal and takes away from the experience for me. Oh, and don’t forget the automatic 18% gratuity even if it’s just you.
I had the French toast and it was pretty good but very pricey for one slice of bread. I asked the host before ordering how the chicken patties tasted, and she said they were kind of sweet. However, when I got them, they were very spicy with a hint of sweetness. If I would have known they were spicy, I wouldn’t have ordered them. The lemonade had a weird taste and even after being replaced, it wasn’t good so I left it there.
The first time I went with their other menu, the food was pretty tasty, which made me want to come back but when I got there the second time I was very disappointed with the options and the way they do the service now.

The food was absolutely delicious. The biscuit and gravy was the best I have ever had.

Not bad! Definitely room for improvement. Very few gluten-free options. They were out of both flavored matcha drinks. These points were both disappointing for my partner. The menu says they have pastries, but our server said they only have them on weekdays, not on weekends, which doesn’t make any sense. I would assume a brunch restaurant would be the busiest on weekends… But ultimately the food we had tasted good, and it’s a very cute place. I used to get breakfast at Lakeshore Cafe, so I’m glad for its replacement.

The restaurant is beautiful. When it comes to the food, is ok. It really has a good taste, but if you are not careful they can serve the food cold. My food was cold.
It can get super crowded, there is no host to guide you where to sit. You have to wait for a waitress.
They are so disorganized. All the waitresses approached to your table to ask you the same question. You don’t know at the end how is your waitress.
Food is expensive. I don’t think is worthless. Besides, they charge you 18% for gratitude. I don’t think that’s ok.

They don’t do over the phone orders, live in the neighborhood and wanted to give them a try. I attempted to call in and place an order but was disappointed to find out that they don’t do over the phone orders or let alone online prepaid orders. Not sure exactly why but every other restaurant on the block does it?

Had an awesome time at The Peach in Oakland. The brunch was delicious with the Curry Shrimp & Congee being show stealer. That said, everything we ordered was on-point. Chill vibe, super friendly staff, and plenty of good drink options. Definitely going back.

I was a long time customer of lakeshore food . I walked into Peach Cafe reluctantly … Oh Boy an I glad I did .. it has been redecorated in a classy way unlike the other cafe ..It is immaculate inside and plenty of seating .
The grits with shrimp is a new item and it is delicious , it is better than any restaurant in the Bay Area by far. They serve large portions which is too much for me … The Thai tea cinnamon is soooo good …I never had anything like …
The staff is so friendly … I went to another place in Oakland where staff is so ruled twice … I stopped going … now I have Peach and prices are fair ..

Came to the peach today with a large party and was sat instantly, I fell in love with the service and ambiance before even tasting the food!! And the food was amazing as well and picture worthy which is what my girls love !! We tried many things the shrimp and grits, smashed avocado, and the mango sticky rice matcha to name a few. The service from Kennedy was so warm and friendly, I been a couple times but this one was one of the best. See you soon peach!!
