You didn't hang the toilet key outside, so we thought someone was inside and waited for 40 minutes. Later, someone helped to bring the toilet key and said that we had seen it wrong. I had confirmed with the front desk that there was no key hanging outside, and there were two people waiting behind me. I also spent money here.

Do not come here if you want a secure or safe environment to do work. I never, ever leave reviews and was really excited to try this place. The building and interior was dirty. The coffee was fine but wasn't good enough to make up for the number of unhoused people camping out inside, disturbing myself and others trying to work. I have a lot of sympathy for the current situation in Oakland but there were multiple unhoused people seeking refuge in the coffee shop. It was busy and people were looking for tables. They occupied several tables and didn't buy anything to my knowledge. One of them kept on circling around my very out of they way table when I was working on my laptop and was quite aggressive. If it was a lone actor who walked in randomly it would be one thing, but this guy had been napping inside for a long time. I didn't feel safe doing work here on my computer as a result and am surprised the management allows them to freely camp out.

Line was long but the drunks are worth the wait.

Only got coffee but I loved the atmosphere here. Very cozy. If I lived in Oakland I’d definitely come here to study.

This is one of my favorite coffee shops in the downtown area. Right off of 19th St Bart. And in the middle is lots of action. Love to sit with some coffee and people-watch while getting some work done.

Non-local, here visiting a friend in the bay area and stopped by on a Sunday morning. Quite possibly the worst tasting chai tea latte I have ever had in my life. Not sure about the other drinks but I would never order this drink again should I return.Pro: spacious, ample seating, friendly employeesCons: limited outlets, only tables and hard back chairs (no sofas, lounge furniture, etc),

The food was good and the cafe is nice. I went to work there with some friends, but had to leave because they had really loud music (only reggaeton) the whole time, not a very good place if you are looking for something calm.

came across this coffee shop. I like to support small businesses and this place was packed. It took a long time for me to find a food frappe. This was it. It was delicious and I'm glad I randomly found this place. Also, a lot of sitting area for you and your group of friends.
