I wish they had a bigger menu but I get it. However, the dishes available punch above the price point and portion size. Very flavorful and consistent from each of my visits. Friendly and attentive staff, the space is quiet, clean and tidy.

Best KFC in oakland hands down!! Everyone is super friendly and was so welcoming! I got the soy garlic chicken and the spicy rice cakes and it was so crispy and juicy! i love supporting small businesses and i cant wait to come back and try other things on the menu!!

Hungry for sushi, I found this place which had some fun noodles and wings on the menu in addition to sushi rolls. It was a fast food restaurant that had a simple dining room, but mostly set up for pick up. Everything was hot and ready for pick up when I arrived. I had the black bean noodles, California roll, rainbow roll and soy spicy wings. The noodles were fun. The noodles Packaged separately from the bean sauce, were fun to put together. The noodles were soft and there was ample sauce to cover them. The wings were fun - spicy and sweet, and fried tender. The sushi rolls were a bit of a disappointment, however. The rice was a little hard, and the cuts of fish not what you would expect for a good sushi roll. Too skimpy for my taste.

I really like this spot for their Korean fried chicken wings. The breading kinda has a corn flake texture that's super fun to eat, not too crunchy and the soy garlic flavor is perfect where it's not too saucy and still remains crisp. The wing portions are big and I feel like you get a lot of flats and drumettes. The rice cakes are also a great choice and have fish cakes. When ordering take out they package it up really nicely with hand sanitizing wipes for a nice touch. I highly recommend coming here for some comforting Korean food.

Had some credit on doordash and decided to treat myself to some KFC and jajangmeyon. The total was $38. The food was ready by the time I picked it up and the staff at the cash register was friendly and efficient. The space wasn't busy, and I was tempted to eat there, but I had already offered to eat it with a friend. lol. The food was pretty tasty and the KFC was my favorite. I will note that it was spicy and that my tummy was not happy afterwards, which doesn't happen often. It was worth it tho. Next time, I'd get the chicken to eat it there and with less spice. The jajangmeyon was tasty, but my friend said the flavor was a bit off. I also thought the yellow pickles tasted a little different than I'm used to...in a way that I didn't particularly care for. Without a doubt, I'll be back for more wings and to try other menu items.

When we were around this area, we went to this little mom and pop restaurant that had other food in this little parking lot complex. Once we decided what to get with the help of the server's assistance, we got the Chicken Wings with half Spicy Garlic and half Soy Garlic, Black Bean Noodles, Spicy Seafood Noodle Soup, and Spicy Rice Cakes to-go. The Chicken Wings were not bad. They were okay, but I have definitely had better. I wish that they had crunchier skin. As for the flavor, the Soy Garlic was our favorite. It had a nice flavor, but wish that it had more of a Garlic taste to it. The Spicy Garlic Chicken Wings were also not bad, but didn't really have any Garlic taste to it. It was mostly just spicy. Also, the skin wasn't that crunchy either. The Black Bean Noodles were good. Nice flavor with the Pork. Classic Korean dish. The Noodles were also nice and bouncy since they separated the Noodles and Sauce in our to-go order. The Spicy Seafood Noodle Soup was not very spicy, but had nice flavor and a good amount of Seafood that was cooked to perfection. Also, thankfully this one didn't have Meat in the broth for my pescatarian family to try since this usually has Meat in it, but I was actually missing the classic Meat flavor in the broth. As for the Spicy Rice Cakes, they were great. It had a nice spicy and lightly sweet flavor to it. It was actually not as spicy as the Chicken Wings. It also came with Fish Cakes that made a nice combination instead of just having the Rice Cakes. Another classic Korean dish. Overall, nice service and good food, just wish that their Chicken Wings were better.

What a cute spot! I was pleasantly surprised to stumble upon Tik Dak. The food is reasonably priced, and service was really good. It's a small family shop, and the owners are very kind. Food was good! We got one of their spicy rolls and it did not disappoint in the spicy department!

Great place for drinks. I always get beer here although I had their wings and they seemed too decadent for me. I like buffalo wings and the Korean flavors through me off. It needed some acidity to cut through the heaviness. The service is average. It gets the job done. The ambiance is where this place shines as all the lanterns and graffiti art make it super cool. However, I would say the ambiance feels a bit off there is like three sections that seem disjointed. The bar area gives dive bar. The common area gives picnic and sometimes plays disturbing horror movies. Then the caged wooden lantern area is the best without that this place looks okay.

This establishment originally started inside the Blind Tiger. Now they have their own storefront on Broadway near Oakland Tech. Their prices are very reasonable, and their portions are large. Their owners are very sweet, communicate how long the food will take and are very attentive. A big bonus is that they have their own parking lot, so you don't have to drive around looking for curbside parking. They really know how to do takeout well. My noodles came in a container with a separate compartment with drainage for the noodles. They even put a piece of cardboard at the bottom of my takeout bag so my food wouldn't tip out over when I stopped at a traffic light. I wish more restaurants were that thoughtful. I have definitely had takeout bags tip over in my car. Their noodles were tasty. The best part where they were definitely not soggy! I will definitely be back to try their sushi rolls and their Korean fried chicken. I give it five stars for the price bracket they play in.

Really delicious fried chicken, dumplings, and bulgogi. Will try more of the menu, but so far, yum! Service is fast, especially if you call your order. Their menu is different from Bento's and Bowls, who I also love. I felt guilty coming here, but they got the fried chicken.

Cute little place in a small strip mall where the parking spots are too small and everybody wants to back in. A few tables for dine in, but mostly set up as a pick up and go place. Got the Korean Fried chicken and its thick crunchy batter. Tried the soy garlic and regular but couldn't really taste a difference. The 20 pieces definitely fed the 2 of us for 2 meals. I dare say comparable if not slightly better than Bonchon and certainly closer. Happy to support this small family business.
