Absolutely sensational. Had the beef kalguksu (beef noodle soup) and enjoyed every single bite.
Just like the ones I had in Seoul.

The inside is so cool. Love that the booths are secluded. The food is amazing. Would definitely recommend stopping in if in the area.

Way too expensive. Can’t even start at $30 for fried chicken.

Called in for takeout late on a Saturday night. It was 11:30 PM. Surprisingly, the restaurant was completely empty. I thought there would be more people hanging out here! Not too familiar with Oakland, but maybe it was a location issue? Anyways, we called and had an estimate of 25 minutes, but our food was ready in 15 minutes. Going inside, paying and checking out was easy.
We specifically wanted bossam. We also got the tteokbokki.
Service was quick and friendly.
At home, when we started to eat, we wish the bossam had more cabbage than the portion of steamed napa cabbage they gave us. The sauce flavors were good though and they gave us some banchan. The tteokbokki was tasty.
We were also able to takeout some makgeolli since the H-Marts and other Asian grocers were closed at this time.
All in all it got our bossam fix taken care of.

Such a good atmosphere that really feels like Seoul in terms of the aesthetic. On top of it the food is really good. We had the budae jigae and kimchi fried rice and it was so good.

Great food selection in a definitely hip Korean restaurant with a cool decor with tin walls and little street feel with tables in little private booths. Parking is a little dicey on this side of Telegraph but it is Oakland. I would say food is definitely on the pricey side like your typical Korean joint but the portions are great. Soups are really good and they don't skimp on ingredients. We had a rice cake soup as well as Kim chi pancake and bulgogi. Mandoo is was good too. The Korean side dishes were fresh. But definitely cost was up. Still I recommend going to go drinking and a good time. Chicken was decent but I wouldn't say the best Korean fried chicken I've had. Probably needs a little more sizzle to the seasoning. We got the sweet and spicy but next time will try the garlic soy
Parking: Don't leave belongings visible as it's an open street but should be okay.

Fried chicken, corn cheese, and bulgogi were so good! Banchans all tasted really fresh. I’m surprised it wasn’t busier, feels like a hidden gem, but that meant no wait and great service. Would definitely eat here again.
