I had never been to Truburgers before, but I had read so many good things about it that I had to give it a try. I went in at around 3:00 on a Saturday. The personnel were friendly and easy going, and it was very easy to place my to-go order. I asked for a standard cheeseburger with everything. As I was the only one there, my order was ready in less than 10 minutes. All the ingredients appeared fresh. However, the hamburger was way too salty! I could barely eat it, and I tolerate Costco rotisserie chicken! To say I was disappointed would be an understatement. I don't know if it was just a one-off and the cook accidentally over-salted it, but if this is the way their hamburger is normally prepared, I will not be ordering it again. Bummer.

Found this gem of burger spot before a concert, and SO glad we did. We live in San Jose and have since driven to Oakland more than once JUST for True Burgerssss ‍ ( don't skip out on the pickle )

I have an unhealthy addiction to TruBurger. It's my favorite spot for a juicy burger and crispy fries. My go to is the double cheese burger (I'll usually add another patty and make it a triple), fries, and milk shake. The garlic aioli they put on the burgers is what has me hooked. Everything pairs so well together and the flavors mend so nicely. The double burger is on the more expensive side at $15 ($18 for the triple) but it's worth it. My gf doesn't care for the brioche buns and I think that it's too much bread for just a single patty, so double down

True Burger be smaccccking! I usually do not eat beef but when I get the urge or have a craving for some beef this place is my go to ! True Burger is a small but tasty burger joint! Everything is made fresh to order. So here is a little run down about this establishment.... 1. It's small on the inside but usually clean. Everything has to be ordered à la cart so expect to pay for everything individually. 2. The customer service is always the same. Pleasant, kind and patient! The team of employees at this location are a blessings to the community. They treat everyone who enters their building with kindness and respect. 3. Don't be afraid to add bacon, it is the perfect addition to their tasty burger (it's just fine without it). 4. The fries are ok, not the best I've ever had but also not the worst. 5. The milkshakes are a hit ! Made with real ice cream so you know it's good!! 6. Lastly, can be a little pricey but ABSOLUTELY worth it! If you in the general area and would like a great burger True Burger is your place.

It's aight... I was in town and craving for smash burger, did a quick search and true burger was top of the recommendation list. I've tried smashed burger in the past and didn't care for it, but though to give it another try somewhere else. True burger has over 1.7k reviews at at high recommend rate, so wanted to stop by and give it a go. First off, great customer service and easy to order. The brioche bun was soft and fluffy and really pairs well with the burger. The patty, I personally didn't love it, I expected it to be more smashed and crispy with more flavor, the patty lacked seasoning but was juicy. BUT the quality of the meat really did shine through, I'd have to give it a .5 Overall the burger was a 3.5 for me. Got me side of garlic fries and also had to pay extra for ranch dipping on the side. 4 out of 5. Crispy, garlicky yummy. Lastly the strawberry lemonade, it's good, a tad bit overly sweet imo, but refreshing. Intimate setting, the restaurant probably only seats about dozen people. Total of the meal came out to be $20.

I got a cheesy truburger and it was pretty good. The fluffy brioche buns and the way everything is cooked is delicious. Ingredients are fresh, and the burger isn't too greasy. Looking forward to coming back and trying the portobello burger next

A very delicious and well-priced cheeseburger to satisfy any burger cravings! They have a few options to had on mushrooms or other sauces to the burger and also have pretty great garlic fries. Their service is quick and there's a handful or tables and stools for to eat in as well.
