Amazing fresh food and kind faces. I loved the sauces on the Gyro plate and all the fresh seasoned rice and cooked-to-perfection lamb. Bravo! Our new spot when we need something healing ❤️

This has changed ownership: I used to be a regular customer so I know who was always working there because it was family owned and run. I got there and didn't recognize the guy so I asked him if it had changed ownership and he gave me an evasive answer that didn't really answer my question. The bread is no longer baked fresh, the rice has cumin in it, the chicken seasoning has changed and they kept my least favorite part of the kebob plate (the lettuce, cucumber and tomato without any dressing). This is super disappointing: I used to love this restaurant but I won't be returning.

Tasty food and good variety. People here are always super kind! Had the lil potato bread ish thing and the gyro and the bowl thing and all of them area great. Lil seating outside the spot, but never been an issue. Would recommend trying!

Hidden gem in West Oakland. Best halal place in the East Bay. Food may take a while, but that's because they're made to order, from scratch. Try the qabuli palow, gyro combo, and bolani.

Really good counter service Mediterranean fare. Really friendly staff. Reasonable prices. Menu current as of june 2022. The gyro I had was really tasty as were their fries. Good amount of garlic and the meat was tender and flavorful.

I’ve been here twice. Both times our dishes were super fresh and everything was delicious. We tried the Kabuli Palau, the combo kebab and the Mantu dumplings. Highly recommend.

I keep going back regularly and the food is as delicious as ever. Some of the best food you can find in Oakland. Special shout-out for the Mantu (when it's not sold out).

Excellent food ? so tasty I will be back often. That chicken wrap is unreal. Also the orange hot sauce is soooo bomb.

Was on my way from Fruitvale to Emeryville for shawarma when I spotted Twins Halal House. Decides to skip shawarma and go with kabobs. Had to check it out. I got the lamb wrap, fries and mantu (dumplings). All were delicious. Love finding a new spot for middle eastern food.

the man at the window was so nice, I found myself smiling as I walked away. my gyro wrap was REALLY good. the hot sauce is not playin’ around—it will light you up. 10/10 I’ll be back to try the rest of the menu

Twins Halal House is a true gem of West Oakland. The food is always super fresh and delicious at a really great price for the amount of food that you get. I’ve only ever had their veg dishes but might need to start eating meat again just to explore more of their menu.

They’re amazing! So sweet, they gave us a slice of cake since it was the owners daughters birthday! Not to mention the food is delicious 10/10! Would definitely recommend!

The seasoning is excellent and portions are generous! Everything is a great price compared to the rising costs throughout the Bay. If you are unfamiliar with this type of food, I think it hits the similar notes as Greek/Turkish without the falafel.

The food is capital "D" delicious! Definitely has become a staple since moving to West Oakland. The food may take awhile to get to you but the wait is worth it, my friends. They have more seating in back behind their gate, around the corner. The twins, of which the restaurant is named, are often playing back there which gives off a comfy family vibe while you eat. Sit on the cushioned floor and dig into some qabuli palow and bolani.
