Truthfully, I went to the Oakland airport early ( I flew into sfo and could have stayed there to eat, but I like being extra early for my flights) not expecting much in the way of food. I ended up at vino volo and had such a lovely time! Above my expectations. Warren greeted me so promptly and warmly I immediately knew I’d made the right choice. The food was lovely and the service superb. I got the Butcher board (heaping with items. Not the tiny portions I was expecting at an airport eatery ) the Ham and Gruyère sandwich (which Iyana made superbly *chefs kiss* ) and then (since I was still having some bubbles and craving salty things) a little side of prosciutto and crackers (which wasn’t little at all all!) so impressed. Also - and I’m sure I’m not the only one who loves this- but they actually practiced great food safety! As some one in the the service industry it hard for me to watch when someone puts gloves on, then touches everything, then your food, missing the point entirely, that is not the case here! I was so happy not to stress about that at all! Hands were washed gloves were used, then discarded. It was awesome. Well done! 100% would go back cause of Iyana and Warren!
Jonah!!!!! The Vino Volvo team here made my day! Jonah and the others who I'm sorry I didn't get their names made our airport experience like a vacation. I temped to get to OAK extra early just in hopes of hanging out with these folks! The Quilt cab is delish!! (Also picked out by Jonah after telling him my taste profile). Amazing wine and cured meats!

Stopped by here for some wines. First, wanted a particular table while the place wasn't busy but that table was dirty. There were 2 servers. I ended up in Melinda's section. She came out to take our order. 1st, wine list wasn't big. Melinda brought over my friend's flight of wines but they were not in right order. We asked and she gave a lame excuse for not being the right order. Wasn't apologetic about mix up. Maybe it's not the place where customer service is big.

All of the food was divine and the same prices as the coffee shop sandwiches! We loved our delicious lunch! Warren Prindle gave excellent customer service!
Jonah was an amazing server. You almost forget you're in the airport here. Great wines and multiple wine flights. Fast service, great food that came out hot and fast. Will definitely come back.
My favorite place to get a quick bite and a drink at Oakland airport. THANK YOU to the amazing man who works here for chasing me through half the airport when I left my card in the billfold.
