Wawa Thai delivered a delightful dining experience with their take-out Pad Thai. The dish was well-executed, boasting a harmonious blend of flavors and fresh ingredients. The noodles were perfectly cooked, and the balance of sweet, sour, and savory elements was spot on. Portion size was generous, ensuring satisfaction with every bite. Wawa Thai certainly earns a recommendation for those craving authentic Thai cuisine.

Adorable place, Easy Parking, Sweet staff.... But the Flavors are what really makes the place. I got the coconut salmon and the sauce it comes with is INSANE. Also, some of the best fresh spring rolls I've ever tasted- the peanut sauce was delicious

best Thai food we've had in Oakland. we got takeout and all of it was so delicious and well prepared/presented. ordered again the next week. I love that they minimize plastic packaging too, so it doesn't stack up in my house (and then landfills). this spot wins a place in our regular rotation!!

Super attentive staff, very nicely decorated, and the food is amazing! Ordered the pineapple duck curry and it was the perfect combination of spicy, sweet, and savory. The roti with the green curry was perfect, too. Will definitely be back!

Wawa is a neighborhood gem and worth traveling to experience. The ambiance is pure kawaii and welcoming. Once seated, you are treated to a dazzling spectacle of Northern Thai cuisine served hot and fresh--and without breaking the budget. What more could one ask?

Had been hearing about this place it very close to my house. Well I tried it spent $86 bucks and it was worth every penny. Very fresh and the staff was super cool

Tried this place out in Oakland and so glad I did. They only have street parking available, but we got lucky and found parking right in front. It's nice from the outside, but once you walk inside it's just that much more amazing. I love the decor inside and the choice color. We went on a Saturday around 5:30pm and it was fairly empty which was nice. The staff were very nice and attentive throughout the entire time. To drink I ordered the Chiang Mai Sour which I thought was just ok. I was hoping it would have a bit more flavor. As an appetizer we ordered the Khan Toke which was a great portion for our group of 3. The presentation of the dish was really nice and the food was really good as well. I loved that we got to try many different dishes on this platter and all of them were a hit. It normally takes 20 minutes to come out, but since it was slow it came out between 10-15 mins. For my entree I got the Shrimp Pad Thai. It was a very large portion and had a good amount of flavor. The fried rice on the fried chicken over fried rice plate was good, but I wished it would've been a bit more fried. My friend also enjoyed her pineapple duck curry. Overall, I enjoyed all the food and would recommend this place to family and friends. Check it out!

WOW, soooo delish! Bright, fresh flavors, perfectly cooked veggies, super fresh shrimp, generous servings, and such a fun space. Super fast service too. Our previous favorite Thai restaurant was in SF -- sooooo happy to have our new fave be right in our neighborhood! Thank you WaWa Thai!

Wawa is a vibrant Thai restaurant that enlivens the neighborhood with its creative yet classic dishes. The fun, colorful ambiance and attentive service provide an enjoyable dining experience whether for takeout or a sit-down meal with drinks. My favorite were the flavorful drunken noodles, and my wife really appreciated the ample vegan prix fixe platter offering diverse, tapas-style plates perfect for sharing.

ordered Sunday night dinner: fresh spring rolls mildly spicy yellow curry with chicken and jasmine rice Spring rolls were chopped salad, fried tofu cubes and cilantro(hate this) Curry taste like onions,period..no spice or curry flavor. more like chicken gravy. Peanut dipping sauce and curry a bit too oily. I would say not prepared by Asian cooks, maybe. A waste of $43

Fun, bright atmosphere. Decent service. Fine for lunch. Disappointed that the pad see ew had regular broccoli instead of Chinese (rapini) broccoli. Kinda greasy and gloppy--college Thai. Salad rolls were quite nice tasting and visually pleasing.

We came by on a rainy Friday evening and were seated promptly. The decor is cute and welcoming. We got the Khan Thoke platter for two, which was more than enough for the two of us! It had a fried dumpling stuffed with a starchy veg, fried chicken, fried pork belly, sausage - this was really flavorful and seasoned with lemongrass. An egg & sausage mix, a pork belly curry, squash and eggplant side and sticky rice. They make their sauces fresh and you can taste the difference. A word of caution if you're vegetarian or vegan to check the dishes served - the table next to ours had an order mix up where they got chicken massaman curry instead of beef, which was quickly corrected and their vegan platter for two had egg. The service is friendly and awesome and we will be back to try more of their dishes!

Enjoyed my takeout, especially the noodles with pork. The chicken satay was cut up in pieces, not on a skewer, but tasted good. Will be back! Price very reasonable for the quality and quantity.
