Was passing through on my way to Seattle from Orange County. Absolutely most random stop ever. The wonton soup was epic. We took some other stuff to go for the road too. Best we’ve ever had.
Yang Chow in Oakland might not catch your eye at first glance—it’s a small, older spot. But trust me, the Chinese food scene here often surprises. While I’m not claiming it’s the best, the fried rice was enjoyable, and the portion sizes were generous, easily enough for two. Service could improve, but the prices are reasonable. Overall, it was a decent experience—nothing spectacular, but satisfying
I did not like the food. I ordered chicken and something else. I can't remember what the other orders was. But I did not care for this restaurant at all. I love chinese food. The quality was not good at all. My chicken was super dry. Not the place for me.
