I love the fresh bread! We usually get the 9-grain bread, but also enjoy their sliced sourdough bread or garlic. The sliced cranberry and walnut bread are amazing. We loved it toasted, but it also makes amazing French toast.

For such a tiny store, they produce the best bread I've yet to enjoy! Sourdough and Rasin are my top favorites!

BEWARE! Hours are posted as 9:00-5:00 Wednesday-Saturday. I get there at 4:30 on a Wednesday. CLOSED!!!! If you're going to close whenever you feel like it, then don't post any hours. I can't imagine that you sold out of everything that day. My family and I were looking forward to having their awesome Jalapeno Cheddar bread with the homemade soup that took me all day to make. VERY DISAPPOINTED. Doubt I'll be back.

I bought 3 loafs first time today. The garlic loaf is very mild with tiny granules of garlic. The regular sourdough with the San Rafael address is mediocre. The best was the raisin, cranberry ,walnut sourdough excellent!! Will be back for more of that one. Cost $20.50 for the three loafs. Looking forward to trying the others.

Stopped in right before thanksgiving. I wanted an assortment for myself and for french bread so I got the cranberry, the sourdough, and the french bread. All were super solid and I can’t wait to go back for more of the cranberry bread. Others are right about the sourdough- it’s not very sour but that’s how I prefer it. Will be back.

Stopped in for the first time today. Great variety available. Most sliced breads are perfectly sized for toaster and sandwiches, and not too thick. Will definitely be back to try more, but started with sliced sourdough and focaccia today.
Hands down the best bread available in
The Sweet French Bread came in clutch hosting a house brunch, best in the Bay!
