Sadly, since it was bought by a new private equity company this is no longer the spot or wine club for us. I have been a wine club member for 6+ years and have fond memories here, but those are just memories now. Here's what happened: For wine club members, poor customer service... silently increased wine club prices by +50%... AND closed the on-site tastings due to renovations... no more concerts (Mondavi used to support the arts...it was a big part of their mission/vision for the property)...Now, there seems to be a focus on profit over art and wine making. Making a tasting reservation is all-digital & cumbersome... There's never availability for members. Members used to be able to simply call ahead. No one is responding to customer service voicemails or emails. Asked to cancel my membership and they still charged my card anyway. This saddens me because this place has so much historic value & the sommeliers who serviced the establishment for YEARS were some of the BEST in Napa. Well informed, friendly, multi-lingual, etc. The new "establishment" fired everyone or drove them away. They're now charging my credit card automatically for wine bottles I never selected or purchased. The membership I selected was originally $250 every 3 months with free pickup for locals, now its $400+ with shipping. I now have to change my credit card numbers so they'll shop charging me. Yikes! Nothing about the new business model appeals to me as a long time member.

If you have not been able to make a reservation for Opus One, you can purchase it at the shop without a reservation at Mondavi, so we recommend purchasing it. Because it is cost-effective, you can purchase it and drink it comfortably while traveling in the United States.

The inclusion of winery-only selections in the tasting menu was a highlight, offering a unique opportunity to savor wines not available in retail. The host was friendly and knowledgeable, enhancing our understanding of the wines. The ambiance provided a relaxing and laid-back environment, allowing us to truly unwind.

Today, my boyfriend and I visited their retail store to pick up a bottle of wine for my dad. Unfortunately, we had an unpleasant encounter with a retail associate who displayed rude behavior for no apparent reason. It was disappointing to receive such poor customer service. We sincerely hope that he was simply having a bad day. Interestingly, we had visited several wineries prior to this, and the staff at all of them were exceptionally kind and friendly, with the exception of the Robert Mondavi staff.

I have been coming here quite often in the past 15 years. Before Covid, they had many tour options but now are mainly focused on tasting. We had a corporate gathering and wanted a winery tour here, only option was the Vineyard to Table Lunch which included a tour. However, after we got there, I was told that the winery will be going under renovation and some parts of the winery like the aging room was closed off so the winery tour was reduced to minimal. We still had a great time despite the short tour. The lunch was presented way better than our expectations and everything was so fresh and delicious. Wines we had were also super good too.

One of the most famous winery in Napa valley. Tasting was excellent. Wines were awesome and it was more pleasant thanks to our wine expert Vincent. Our family spent a wonderful time here! We bought 3 bottles of wines we've tasted and got 15% off. Thanks again for making a precious memory for our family.

Very impressed, one of the godfathers in Napa, the wine tasting with Vince giving us info re the wine and background on the vineyard was amazing. The setting was awesome, a beautiful day.

They say that post-covid, they have rules about allowing people to enter the gardens. You can't enter unless you have a tasting reservation, which is very unfortunate. We wanted to show my son the garden area. We ended up buying some wine at the store, and apparently $150 worth of spending couldn't get us into the garden area either. Quite a shame.
