We had Bruce as our expert tasting experience representative. He gave us an amazing tour of the winery and how everything was made along with an impromptu tour behind the scenes of the oak barrels being stored. I hands down recommend this winery for the scenery and hospitality alone. Our last stop ended up being our best stop
Excellent tasting. Delightful experience.
Ordered a gift bottle for a family member for Christmas, but Silver Oak failed to deliver because my order had the wrong state for the delivery address. A pleasant woman contacted me about my inquiry. I confirmed the correct shipping address, and she immediately got the wine shipped. But Silver Oak exceeded my expectations by including an additional goody in the package. I appreciate their generosity. And my sister does, too.
Only there for a quick tasting two glasses. Know the wine. Pleasantly surprised when, after asking a few questions, the wine tender pulled out the 2019 and poured us a third glass of this superb vintage for comparison.
Tom was amazing!!! We did a tour and saw the barrels and tasted a lot of wines, Tom took care of us and he was just splendid and very informative.
The tour was really fascinating getting into the nitty gritty of winemaking. It really led to us appreciating then vertical tasting so much more and being able to see the progression from 2015-2020 was very enlightening!
It was a fine visit but compared too everything else napa valley has to offer, it wasn't really a top notch winery experience.
Beautiful, Must-See Winery!! Had an amazing experience!! Huge shoutout to John, our wine tasting guide! He knew so much about the winery and the wines—it was super interesting. I really appreciated how he took the time to cater to my wine preferences. He didn’t just stick to the Cabernet; he also included some Pinot Noirs, which felt really nice and thoughtful. He made my first trip to Napa Valley unforgettable. My boyfriend Joel and I can’t wait to come back on our next trip to California!! Thank you again for making us Michiganders feel at home in Napa Valley.
Visiting Silver Oak’s Napa Valley winery it's every bit as refined and welcoming as the wines themselves. From the moment you arrive, the estate exudes understated elegance — modern architecture framed by vineyards, warm wood tones, and a peaceful, open atmosphere.
The staff were exceptionally knowledgeable and friendly, guiding us through a relaxed, seated tasting that included several vintages of their iconic Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon. Each pour was thoughtfully presented with insights into Silver Oak’s winemaking philosophy, sustainable practices, and the legacy of their American oak aging program.
Ally was the best!!! The grounds were stunning as well as the wine of course. We can’t wait to visit again.

It was our first visit to Silver Oak and we will definitely be back! Nick and I visited in October and David hosted us. He was super knowledgeable about the wine industry, he showed us around the property and guided us through some of the best Cabernets we have ever tasted. Thank you David for the best visit for Silver Oak!
Silver Oak Winery is a must-visit!
We were in Napa recently and took the Silver Tour on a beautiful Monday afternoon. Our tour guide was fantastic. She was friendly, knowledgeable, and made the experience even more enjoyable. The grounds are absolutely stunning, and I honestly could have stayed there all day. Such a peaceful and memorable stop on our Napa trip! 🍷🌿
We arrived for our tasting and they did accommodate us having arrived on wrong date . We were given one wine and nothing more.. they were not busy enough that we could not have been attended to better. We really heard nothing about the winery itself, history or about wines. We experienced much better at cake bread and Caymus and Far Neiente. This was a very big fail and we left after only being there for 30 min vs the 1.5 hr scheduled for. We enjoyed the smaller boutique wineries downtown Napa much more. The wine train we did on last trip was much more enjoyable than Silver Oak.
I would not recomment visiting this wimery. The wines are good but too expensive.
We booked a tour thinking we were going to get to walk the grounds and see the vineyards. Our tour was limited to inside seeing a few things and then it ended. Our guide was very nice it just wasn’t what we were expecting.
