101 Bagels & subs

I think…this was the best bagel we’ve ever had. It was soft, fluffy and delicious.

The owners had my order memorized from my second visit :,) thanks for keeping me and my little surfers fed!

Stopped in a for Rueben. It was tasty.

The grub hub guy took it to the wrong apartment but they made me another one and didn’t charge me. I got the 2 meat egg and cheese bagel with sprouts, onions and cream cheese and it was sooooooooo delicious. I got the strawberry banana smoothie with it. Totally cured my hangover.

From the moment I stepped into 101 Bagels and Subs, I knew I was in for a treat, and they absolutely delivered! This place is an experience tha leaves you planning your next visit before you've even finished your meal. I literally drive an hour to come to this place and walk to the beach 5min away to eat it.

Beyond the incredible food, the atmosphere is cozy and inviting, and the staff are genuinely friendly and efficient. You can tell they take pride in what they do, and it makes every interaction a pleasure. Service is quick, even when they're busy, ensuring you get your delicious fix without a long wait. It's truly a hidden gem that deserves all the praise it can get. Five stars aren't enough this place is simply outstanding!

So glad, I stopped into this little place for a sandwich to take down to the beach for lunch. Explained to the folks at the counter, that I was from out of town and what did they recommend. They patiently reviewed the menu with me and recommended a few things. I choose the turkey, bacon, avocado on rye sandwich. Great pickles. Very happy customer. Note - The chip selection was low and they do not offer fountain soda.
A colleague stopped in the next morning and ordered a bagel with peanut butter. She said it may have been the best bagel she has every had.

Always stop here on the way to the harbor to bet my breakfast fix. Lots of choices of bagels and snacks b sandwiches. Food always tastes fresh and service is great. Their is some inside seating and well as outside.

No matter what we order it always tasted great.

Parking is on coast hwy right in front. If its full go to the signal and turn right, then right on the first street to access tue parking lot behind the store. Head out of the lot and up the stairs and you are there

It can get busy so do not veg frustrated. The food is worth the weight.

Highly recommend there breakfast bagels and sub sandwiches.

Recommended dishes: Bagel with Cream Cheese

Had the nova lox bagel, salmon was sliced and quality. Bagel was perfectly toasted, tomato and capers had actual taste. For my personal tastes I would have done a little less cream cheese and a bit more salmon, but they are running a business and I bet that would be unprofitable. I'd rather they stick with quality salmon, so overall I'd say 5 stars.

They are also always very flexible and generous with avocado if you ask for it.

A perfect pitstop on a long car trip. Across the street from the public library and Civic Center. Nice people and legit good bagels. Plenty of indoor outdoor seating.
