Breakfast and sometimes weekday lunch are the only things worth going to. Dinner is lunch leftovers. Food is straight disrespectful a lot of the time.

Place has gone down not sure if it's going through renovations or lack of funding.

Quality of food and service went up ever since everything was moved to the left side of the building. Ms. Mary always make everyone feel welcomed at the entrance. We need Taco Tuesday back! ?
My favorite employee left. She was like my second mom.Breakfast is where it's at. Lunch is so-so. Best food you can get for the price. Staff is 99% awesome except for the one person who is grumpy to everyone and will undercook your eggs if you really tick her off. Regular omelette lady is 10/10.One of the best chow halls I've eaten at in 18 years of service. (DFACs don't count).

A very spacious area that is never packed and has plenty of food for everyone. The employees are very respectful and the food is quite good. Honestly can't complain, this is one of the better Mess halls around the Corps.

Best chow hall in the area. Better than 14 and I'm at 14 area!
It was a nice one good experience one of the better chowhalls
The 13 area chow hall is definitely one of the more upscale chowhalls on base, with good options for every meal and plenty of seating.

Better than most chow halls in the USMC. But still a chow hall.

Every time i visit they are always under staffed, short on food, never have condiments, the dink machines sometimes work sometimes don’t. The items at the salad bar are always empty. Salad and spinach are never rinsed before put out at the salad bar. They opened the connecting building for burnt pizzas and half raw burgers, as in you can still taste the rawness of the meat. The locations needs major improvements in food quality and staffing. I would suggest a higher budget; however, it seems that, after two years of forced attendance to this location, the quality of food had just continued to decline. I would suggest a different contractor or maybe even a contract with an actual restaurant to provide basic sustenance to the military members. (When i say forced attendance i mean that the military will not grant comercial rations regardless of the numerous food poisoning cases)
Considering the alternative chow halls, this one takes the cake. Adequate salad bars, grilled chicken, oven baked pizza, soup and cheese burgers daily. The daily menu can be hit or miss, but there are typically 3 different entrees. If you're feeling like a fat body there are also cake slices and an ice cream machine.
Vegetarian options: They have veggie patties and a salad bar
Parking: Parking during open hours is hard to do even the overflow lot gets taken up sometimes
Wheelchair accessibility: Ramp from parking lot

miss mary the greeter makes our day, they always have little special going on the best staff in any chowhall not the newest but the staff and management are amazing good job!
This absolutely the best chowhall in the Marine Corp
Lights were off, no noise, no tvs on, completely barren chow hall. One Sodexo worker serving burritos Only, and nothing else. Burrito tasted bland with no flavor. One cold “chocolate” donut wrapped in plastic that’s been probably sitting there for days. Sodexo worker couldn’t speak English. Don’t ever go to this chow hall.
