The to go line is so slow that 14 cars back i wasted my entire lunch break and didn't get lunch. Mccdonalds at least cooks different kinds of food, it does not take that long to grab a box, put it in a bag, grab sauce and a drink. The workers are always just sitting there shooting the shit and ignoring the line.
I would say the 22 Area Galley has some of the best menu variety, food quality, and customer service of any chow hall I’ve been to on Camp Pendleton! The building is modern, clean, and expansive. The drive thru and fast-chow window are nice features. This chow does unfortunately get packed sometimes during the weekdays, and like any chow hall, it’s not 100% consistent.
Finest chow hall in the 22 area, no doubt, but this institution could use more consistency in regard to its pizza, sauce options, and quick food bar. I would go to war with many of the fine, patriotic, and well mannered servers here.

The WOW has the best chicken wings and the staff there is always efficient and pleasant. I highly recommend!!
