Love this place! My son is a lifeguard down at the beach. He went straight from camping to work and didn't have lunch. I ordered him a sandwich and they took the time to deliver to the lifeguard tower. That is service! I appreciate them saving mom a trip on a busy beach day. Excellent employees and sandwiches!

My girlfriend & her daughter stood at the counter for a lengthy amount of time & then when a young brunette finally approached them.... like they were bothering her.... she tried to apologize. The manager made the excuse that was about to get off..... No excuse

Customer Service was poor.Had to yell across the counter to get assistance. No hospitality or professionalism from the young brunette behind the counter. She gave unapologetic apology. Waste of time listening to her while she rolled her eyes. I will nor be going back with my family and will advise others not to go to this establishment.

This is my second time at Beach Hut in Oceanside and I’m already counting down to my next visit. These sandwiches are hard to beat. Everything is super fresh and the flavors are just incredible. I also love that you can choose the size of your sandwich which is such a thoughtful touch.
There is absolutely nothing skimpy about these sandwiches. You really get your money’s worth here.
Hal, the owner, is amazing. Welcoming, kind, and clearly passionate about what he does. You can grab a nice cold beer on draft or a big can of Pacifico to go with your meal which just makes the whole experience even better.
Absolutely a must visit if you’re in Oceanside. A gem!

Came here with my mother and brother looking for dinner. The shop definitely has more of an adult scene with the bar but when we were there, there was NOBODY in the building aside from two very kind workers. The sandwiches are a little pricey but delicious! The sandwiches are so full of meat and definitely worth the price.

My friend ordered online a gluten free French dip sandwich on a gluten free roll. She was given a pound of meat on a tortilla. After calling the restaurant, they said they didn't offer rolls even though she ordered from the restaurant online. She asked for her money back, they gave her the run around and then told her she would get a refund and it never happened even after talking to the manager and him also saying she would get a refund. She called over 4 times to no avail. It eas for an Easter dinner since she was working. So sad.
I tried the acai bowl from here after looking everywhere too find a perfect place, ran into this one and GOSH the acai bowl was a taste of everything in every bite. I loved the service, the acai bowls thickness was the bested one my taste buds could ever encounter. 10/10 definitely recommend.

I have lived above this place for 3 years and the food isn’t bad. However, I’ve ordered several sandwiches and it usually takes about 40 minutes to get a sandwich. It has taken as long as 55 minutes and the fastest it was ever ready was 27 minutes, and that was about an hour before closing with zero customers and two employees. Part of me wants to watch the process start to finish because at this point, I am genuinely so curious about how to make a 9” turkey sandwich in 27 minutes. Decent food but don’t go there when you’re super hungry. It’s great if you want to have a beer or two and watch sports while waiting for a sandwich, but don’t expect anything quickly.
