I have lived above this place for 3 years and the food isn’t bad. However, I’ve ordered several sandwiches and it usually takes about 40 minutes to get a sandwich. It has taken as long as 55 minutes and the fastest it was ever ready was 27 minutes, and that was about an hour before closing with zero customers and two employees. Part of me wants to watch the process start to finish because at this point, I am genuinely so curious about how to make a 9” turkey sandwich in 27 minutes. Decent food but don’t go there when you’re super hungry. It’s great if you want to have a beer or two and watch sports while waiting for a sandwich, but don’t expect anything quickly.

Dude, this place is a awesome little spot! Went in for a birthday, will be returning regularly for lunch/dinner. Super chill staff, absolutely amazing food. I got the Big Khauna, awesome and had a kick for sure. My buddies had the Surfin Bird and the Hobe and not a bite left! Definitely check this place out next time you're in downtown

We were in town for a soccer tournament and I called this place and immediately felt at ease at how attentive, kind, detailed, and patient Hal was with me as far as count, portions, suggestions, etc. I was greeted with a friendly staff when I walked in to pick up my order. My order was ready on time. I had a variety of sandwiches (ham, turkey, roast beef, caprese) and every single one was better than the other! The sandwiches were devoured and everyone complimented the freshness of all the ingredients. Everything was reasonably priced. The catering package was very neat and organized. We will definitely be back with the family to enjoy the atmosphere and grab some drinks! Thank you, Hal!

It was pretty good. Service was laid back and friendly. The sandwiches are ok. For the price it was kinda meh. The cream cheese on mine was pretty sparce and the bacon on the side was clearly removed from the sandwich and put on the side after the fact but that's ok. Dog friendly patio and our toddler really enjoyed watching the train from the patio. Pretty good food overall and really nice staff. The pricing is a bit much for what you're getting, but overall a good spot for a sandwich.
I really enjoyed my lunch from Beach Hut Deli. I ordered a Cabo Salad with a mix of all the lettuce options and the spicy ranch. It was delicious! The ingredients tasted so fresh, and I loved the flavor of the chicken. It was also a large salad, much more than I expected and could easily be split between 2 people. It’s definitely good value for the price. I would order it again.
As for my experience, I ordered online through Beach Hut Deli’s website, it was easy to navigate and quick. The website provided a pick up time, and when I arrived my food was ready for me. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. I took my food to-go, but the restaurant has a nice casual vibe with a good amount of indoor and outdoor seating. Overall I enjoyed Beach Hut Deli, and will visit again.

Surprisingly impressive spot close to Oceanside beach with quality food and a fun atmosphere. This place could have easily passed as a tourist trap by the looks of it on the outside…but their righteous Reuben tastes pretty righteous to me ? There’s also fun & affordable drinks, if you wanna grab a cold beer next to the water!
