Phenomenal experience at Beer Town!! Atmosphere, food, beer, wine (yes, wine too) were excellent in both quality and selection!! We cannot.wait to go here again!
Thursday evening, we are vacationing with 2 kids. Server Mary is patient, lets the kids try the soda to decide, has knowledge of the beers to help make the decision on which to choose. The food was great. Great place, I would go there any day. Mary was working the bar and restaurant on her own, and did an amazing job welcoming people and making everyone feel really good.

My friend wanted to stop for a beer on the return trip bike ride home. I don't drink beer, but he does...so it was worth the stop. Earlier in the morning we had ridden down 9 miles to the coast, to Oceanside beach. And on return trip home, we stopped in the town of Oceanside, because my friend was craving a beer, he enjoyed his beer very much. Then we got on the bikes, & rode the 9 miles back home.

We went for wing night - the lemon pepper and teriyaki were a hit. They were slammed and a little understaffed but did their best to keep things rolling. They have a good assortment of things on tap and plentiful seating indoors and outdoors.

This place should be full for the padres dodgers opening Gane, but it wasnt... maybe bad marketing.. but the indoor-outdoor feel of the back porch is immaculate.. perfect for O-side.. and then I bit into the smash burger....OMG.. one of the best burgers.ive ever tried ....every bite is literally melting in my mouth people u gotta fill this place up already..

Wierdest thing. We've been regulars here for awhile usually stopping by about once a week for wings or tacos and beer. The other day I tip this waiter Carlos like a 30% tip 'cuz I thought he's a pretty cool guy... and then he accuses me of walking out with a taster of beer the last time I was there. I'm like, "well, I don't think I did that but maybe I had 3 beers and forgot?... Lemme ask my wife" 'cuz she was there last time. After that he was like, "Let's move on, let's be positive" like he didn't wanna talk about it, his judgement was final. What??? You don't just go accusing someone like that and then say let's just move on. Sure as I thought, when I got home my wife said that didn't happen and that glass is nowhere to be found... I mean, why would I want to steal that taster glass??? Maybe this place needs some employee training in customer service or etiquette or just being a bro??? Gimme a break! Needless to say, we will be giving this place a break in visiting... there's plenty of other places to visit in O'side and it's too far north for us to drive anyway...

Beertown is one of the best kept gems in Oceanside & can be found right as we enter the downtown area. One of my favorite places to dine out is Beertown.
Beertown is located on N Coast Hwy in Oceanside California & it's an underrated family-friendly spot.
There's a lot to love here at Beertown. They have a private parking lot & there's also street parking surrounding it. Because it is located BEFORE the downtown area, you won't have to deal with too much traffic; which is often known as a nuisance.
Their establishment is very spacious, allowing for seating inside or on an outside patio. With their wraparound windows, customers get a full view of all happenings outside (people-watching is a famous Oceanside pastime). They also have bar seating for those of us who want to minimize our time between drinks ?
Because they have minimal televisions, I would not consider this a "sports bar". Beertown is more of a family-friendly watering-hole that has some excellent pricing deals.
I especially love their smashburgers, which are available Every Day. It has a pickled pepperochini relish & bacon jam that is simply decadent! You get a hint of sweet, heat & savory in every bite.
On Tuesdays it's all about their tacos for $2.50! Their blackened mahi fish taco sells out fast. Their pork belly is another favorite and they even have a vegetarian option with artichoke & mushroom; and all of them are flavorful.
Wednesdays are all about their $.75 chicken wings and they have a great selection available. I recommend mango-habanero, hot honey (get extra sauce) and 7 Siblings Buffalo.
I love how Beertown supports other local businesses such as ARTIFEX, Shoots, Northern Pine & 7 Siblings.
I really love this place and can't recommend it enough and hope that everyone gets to experience all that they have to offer in Oceanside.
Parking: There's parking in their private lot and also the ability to park for free on the street nearby with no time-restrictions.
