Blade is one of our very favorite restaurants! The food and the service are exceptional always. This particular visit was special as we had dinner with friends we haven't seen for quite a while because they moved to the Midwest for great jobs. We used to meet at Blade on a regular basis when they lived in So Cal. The ceilings are high so it can be louder than normal when crowded. But we had no problem with active conversation and we had a great time. An added caveat is that the entire staff and owners are very friendly and go out of their way to make sure you are comfortable and enjoying.

Had a lovely Sangria, fried ravioli, truffle fries and the Sud Italia. All food was great. Service was prompt, quickly cleared items as we finished. A couple of TV's but sound was doen so you could carry on a conversation.

You don't often get service that is as good as the meal. Both were great. And they serve a pretty awesome house red (tasty and never too warm like most reds by the glass). The owner came by the table to check in at the end - could have been clumsy or awkward - but it wasn't - it was a nice touch to a solid meal with friends

Service was great and we're seated quickly even though we were early. Waiter was very attentive and polite. Food was awesome to include appetizers and desserts and can't wait to go there again.

We were really looking forward to this, but wound up disappointed. I ordered tortellini with short rib inside which was just ok. My partner ordered veal scallopini and it was really bland. Almost not edible. Zack our server was fantastic. Too bad the food wasn't. We won't be returning.
The over experience was amazing. Our service was incredible they made us feel like we owned the entire place. 100% going back.

We had a lovely evening. I had reservations for 5:30 pm on a Friday evening. We were greeted and seated immediately. Our server was so wonderful. She made sure we had everything we needed. Our meals were delicious. The seafood pasta was loaded with seafood and a the marinara sauce had a hint of spice. The pasta Bolognese was also wonderful. I highly recommend this wonderful restaurant in Oceanside, California.

One of the best restaurants in Oceanside. Food is amazing. Staff is professional. Owner is friendly. First time we went the service was incredible. We sat in a room in the back and it was quiet and comfortable. Second time was a completely different experience. Very crowded with a full bar and a company event taking place in the room in the back. The restaurant noise level was unbearably loud and it felt like any other busy bar/restaurant. Unfortunately, on this night our server was impolite and just seemed to be going through the motions to take our order and move on. No personal touch to welcome us and very little follow up to make sure we were happy. Maybe she was having a bad night. I hope our second visit was an exception. I highly recommend this restaurant, but on a busy night, may not be the place for you. There was outside seating which would have been quieter, but we were seated inside. Note, the first and second time were both on a Saturday at 7:00 PM.

The staff were very accommodating and found the perfect table for us. Our waitress was exceptional. She was very attentive and had a great personality. We all enjoyed the food. The salmon entree was cooked perfectly and the pasta entrees were excellent. We will definitely be back!
