My wife and I dined at Blade on a Friday night. The place was very lively. Servers and hostesses were great. Katie is an excellent waitress! We had pasta and pizza and the food was outstanding, especially the mushroom tagliatelle. We really enjoyed ourselves and will be back again soon.
Thoroughly enjoyed our meal here! We felt like this was the most authentic type of Italian meal we've had since going to Italy a year ago!
The food here is excellent. We started with bruschetta, followed by penne arrabiata and a Margherita pizza. All very tasty and full flavored. It tasted like food you get in Italy.
Always great food and service.... I'm kind of use to a bread basket at Italian restaurants,,,the only thing missing,
We love this place and food is fantastic ; but I think in general the restaurant business has been taking advantage of the public $$$ since COVID !!! We did not screw you over — the liberal BS government rid . Stop ripping us off on prices . 2 glasses of wine and 2 medium pizzas for $85 .. OMG
Amazing fresh quality food. Service was outstanding, food was amazing and the staff was very attentive. It was our anniversary and they brought us the most amazing Tiramisu. Really cool vibe with the decor and plenty of space in and out of the building. we had the Calamari, Salmon(Best Salmon my wife has ever had) and the chef special Short rib Ravioli. We will be back to try the Pizzas which looked amazing.
We love the truffle pizza and cheese ravioli. Not so impressed by Margherita pizza and Tiramisu.salad was good but not impressed as well.
Personable staff including owner Donya and Chef Angelo. Tasty fried Ravioli, Insalata verde. Pizzas are great cooked in a Neopolitan oven. Enjoyed two different pastas. We'll be back! Recently started a Happy Hour menu. Smart!
The happy hour is terrific, the service was very good.
the food is great. but, the portions are skimpy. i was a little surprised how little you get for the price point. there is also up charges for every little thing in addition to the price point of entrees. the service is based our waitress which was lousy. it’s unfair to rate the entire staff in one category.
the food came quick. the beer menu was vague. the vibe/tone of the restaurant is ideal, in my opinion, for Italian food, as it’s not pretentious or splashed with culture to sell authenticity. my only grievance is the amount of food you get at the price. the pizzas should definitely be larger as it’s super cheap to make and skimping is just a matter of greed. italian overhead is overall cheap. give more if you’re gonna ask for a high price point.

Food was mediocre, not quite what I was expecting for a 5 star rated place. The pasta was just too tough and nothing stood out. Place was pretty loud too so it's not the best for a date.
Food was really good. Friend is a vegan and ordered pasta and was impressed with the meal. Ordered a bottle as well. Prices were decent. Great value.
This is a top Oceanside restaurant and we love to dine there. This visit we took our friends and they couldn't say enough about it!
Great Italian food. We ordered the pappardelle with mushrooms in cream sauce. It was delicious. We also shared a Margherita pizza. It had a nice thin crust and was made in their authentic Italian pizza oven. I highly recommend this place.
Date night special was fantastic! Salmon and chicken entrees were top notch. Calamari appetizer lightly breaded, very fresh. Mango sorbet not to be missed. Including bottle of wine for under $100.
