The food was very good. It's nice to see appropriate portion sizes. Many restaurants have such huge portions. blade 1936 has a portion size that is just the right amount of food
Our meal was outstanding. I had the pappardelle with mushrooms and added shrimp. My husband had salmon. Both were amazing. The vegetables that accompanied the salmon were cooked perfectly. The owners make you feel welcome and at home. This is my 2nd experience at Blade1936 and I hope to return soon.

We were looking for a yummy dinner that was in a casual atmosphere and we got it! Our food was delicious, drinks were too! As good as it all was, our server Sean made it even better! He was great with suggestions, fun to talk to and the kind of guy that you'd ask to sit in his section every time you go in. We were in Oceanside on vacation so not sure when we'll be back, but when we are, we'll go to Blade 1936 again, and we'll recommend it to everyone we can!

Went with a big group and mostly everything that we got tasted pretty good. I got the carbonara pizza and it was probably the worst pizza I’ve ever had. I’m sure the other pizzas are good but this one needs to be taken off the menu. Service was pretty bad as well. The place has a good atmosphere and good enough food but do not order the carbonara pizza.

Customer service was good, my waitress was super helpful and gave me wine recomendations. Food was ok, for my taste, the pesto needed a pinch of salt. Salmon was tasty. Place is very loud. Service was quick. I would come back to try other dishes.
This was our first time enjoying blade 1936. We tried the Capo Bourbon drink and the Gnocchi dish. our friends had the steak, spaghetti in the seafood pasta dish. All of us liked our drinks. I can't remember all of them lol. This place was really busy so make a reservation. Would definitely go back again. It is a noisy restaurant, so if you are looking for a quiet date night, this would not be that.

I really love this place. The atmosphere is classy and well appointed. They really care about the quality of the food, The pastas were amazing and fresh and so was the Pizza. The drinks were top notch also! It is a little loud there but we will go again for sure. We spent a little more but the food was worth it for sure. The staff was pleasant and helpful but I think they were a little short-staffed.
