I bought this for tiramisu but It hadn’t tiramisu cream. It was just whipped cream and it was 12$. I am so sad for that. It was terrible experience for me.

Delicious bubble/boba teas and the best carrot cake in San Diego county! I look forward to visiting when they have their next Harry Potter themed high tea and other themed events, too.

What a delightful discovery. This oasis of serenity is blessed with a great staff and even better food. We loved the entrees as much as we enjoyed the desserts. We expected great tea and were not disappointed. We also expected good scones and other goodies to go with the tea. What we got was some of the best desserts you can imagine and some delicious entrees. They call them finger sandwiches, but they are a little more than that. The meat pies, Italian sandwiches and prosciutto and fig finger sandwich - more like a mini bruschetta- were all delicious. The cranberry scone was perfect, as all the desserts were. Do yourself a favor and go for a special occasion - like a random Tuesday. The atmosphere, food and service are an unbeatable combination.

Great service. Knowledgeable staff. Personable. Ambiance ambiance ambiance. I've seen everything from mothers and sons to daughters and dads hanging out together. Of course, it's a great place to bring your significant other too. It's an adorable shop to spend quiet time. Haven't had a dessert I didn't enjoy. Tea is delicious. Great selections.

Husband took me here on a date after church and it was so cute and charming! We did the Cupid Bliss Experience since it was around lunch time and all the food, teas and treats were very good! I love that they have so much variety in their menu including vegan options. We will be bringing friends here on a double date next time ! Also want to mention, we did make a reservation beforehand and it is definitely recommended to do so for an experience like this . Thank you Bliss Tea and Treats for having us

This place is such a gem! So hard to find places where they serve a nice pot of tea, especially after Covid. I'm sure I'll be frequenting this spot often in the future! We walked in on a holiday weekend, and got three teapots (crème brûlée, Eiffel, blueberry green tea) and the crème brûlée was LIQUID GOLD and tasted so good (both sweet and unsweetened). If was like a dessert in a tea cup. I would come back just for that tea. Their teapots also have warmers on the bottom to keep it warm, and they also offer sweetener and cream if you request it. The owner was very thorough and informative about the menu, and our server was a very sweet young lad! They also offer high afternoon tea services, and as well as tea beverages to go. I love the concept of this place and being able to get a nice pot of tea, and hope business goes well for this establishment

Our Bible study group met for High Tea experience and I can safely say we did have a very pleasant one. The service was impeccable and the tea was a real pleasure! We were seated quickly (we did make reservations) and a a sample of the days tea was brought over for us to try. Rashell, the owner was really patient and gracious at explaining some of the teas that had names like "Breath" and "Paris night (may have the name wrong)",to us. Each person gets their own pot of tea of their choosing. We, of coarse tasted each other's choices. The staff was always near to refill the pots with hot water to continue enjoying the teas. We all had the Jolly Bliss Tea experience. Each of us got our own tea tray, with our individual choices. There is not much in the way of gluten free choices. The owner does keep a loaf of gluten free bread for those who are gluten free, for the sandwiches. I have to tell you the Cranberry Orange Scone with the strawberry preserves and crème fresh is to die for. The Apple Brie sandwich was delightful! I also had the chicken salad and one other. There were 3 different desserts on each of our tea trays. The ambiance of this establishment is relaxed enough and pleasant with a nice touch of elegance that makes you feel special but not so formal that you can't have a rollicking conversations with friends. Everything has a crisply clean look with touches of whimsy here and there. Our group truly enjoyed themselves and were really glad we discovered this gem of a place! And a note to a particularly nasty reviewer just before this one is posted..... I am not a paid reviewer. These are my honest opinions, as I am sure the other positive ones were also unpaid. Shame on you for discounting those of us who enjoyed this place.

They should rename this place NADA TEA because that's what you get after an hour of being seated - NADA, nothing, zilch! So I'm gonna break this place down for you: FOOD: Frozen and nonexistent. Wanna know how I know? Because after being seated I waited 30 minutes to just put in an order. READ THAT AGAIN: 30 minutes to put in an order (and this place only had one other table with 2 people). Then waited another 30 minutes to get ONE hot chocolate that was made with Hershey syrup (nothing fancy here folks, so don't expect much). And I know the food is frozen because I had an open view of the kitchen and saw it all. And I say the food is nonexistent because after WAITING ONE HOUR we still never got any food, at which point we left. SERVICE: Slow as molasses going up hill. Oh and a "teapot" is the same size as a cup of tea (but more on that later). There were two servers and one was the manager so you would expect better service or think she would at least care. Nope! After waiting 30 minutes to put our order in, she came back to us 15 minutes after that to double check our order and we told her we wanted POTS of teas, NOT cups. Easy peasy, right? Welp who would've thunk getting TEA at a tea place would be so mind bending - the manager, that's who. Because even after that NOTHING was delivered to the table - no tea, no food, nada. There was another table in the place that just kept looking around and at us with a "this place sucks, right?" Face. 30 minutes waiting to order 15 minutes to get one hot chocolate 15 minutes for manager to double check order = 1 hour of no tea and no food and our cue to leave. TEA: Overpriced and over measured. So this is my FAVORITE part of my no tea and no food experience at this tea house. I approach the manager and let her know that we've been waiting an hour and we'd like to just checkout and leave. And off the bat she gives me an attitude and acts like it's my fault and says "Fine. Want your teas to go?" I know it's all just to charge me the most she can before I leave so I say "yes thank you." And I $#it you not she takes the 3 teapots we ordered and pours each teapot into three to-go cup and charges me $40. So their "teapots" are the size of to-go cups. I can't help but laugh at this point bc the joke is completely on me for coming here and I apologize profusely to the other guests in my party ... which brings me to my next point - Yelp reviews. OTHER YELP REVIEWS: I'm pretty sure a lot of the positive reviews are paid or incentivized because there is no way we could have the terrible experience we had with this place having a 4.5 star rating on Yelp. So needles to say I'm never coming back here and the people I came with are never coming back nor we will recommend it. UPDATE AND RESPONSE TO MANAGER BELOW: No. Upon arrival one table was checking out and only one other table was seated, it was when we were leaving that a few other customers trickled in. Also, we were calm and very patient with you and the other younger waitress. And as someone who has worked in the food and beverage industry, I recommend you take this 1 star review to do better and not just blame the customers. Bless you, have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Some high tea places can be a bit formal and stuffy. This place, however, oozes charm and a playful ambience from the creative and beautiful holiday decorations to the wonderful background music. Plus, the attention to detail at every level from the service to the food was amazing. Now for the food...wonderful. I like that you have the option of several different high tea packages or you can order ala carts items. We chose the ala carte melted Brie with apple sandwich with a salad. It was melt-in-your mouth wonderful. Rochelle, the server and owner, brought us a small cup almond tea to sample the day's speciality tea... a nice touch. Then she also brings out a tray with 20 vials of loose leaf tea for you to smell and can chose the one you prefer. The teas were wonderful and even the teapots are very unique and creative. Though I didn't have dessert this time, I did have their carrot cake before and it was truly decadent and amazingly delicious. I am already planning my next visit.

What a blissful afternoon tea experience, from start to finish! From the festive holiday decor, the thoughtful and kind service, to the delicious teas and treats, we delighted in our time at Bliss. Rushell has thought of everything to make your tea outing well worth it. I love how we were able to customize our experience, including the sandwiches, and scones. There were so many delicious teas to choose from, we picked three: crème brûlée black tea, snickerdoodle rooibos, and sugar plum fairy. We enjoyed them so much, we purchased them to take home. Being able to partake in afternoon tea is a rare opportunity due to multiple food allergies, but there were many dairy-free, vegan and nut free food options. Rushell took our dietary restrictions seriously and patiently answered our questions. We were thrilled with our choices and ate every last bite and drank every last sip (3 refills of our pots!). I highly recommend the cranberry orange scone! Rushell and her staff were attentive and helpful. We can't wait to come back with the rest of our family, and are so glad that we found this local gem.

This is a hard review to write because I really wanted to like this location overall. The concept, teas and dessert selections were great. They even have a way to help you understand the scents and therefore the taste of the tea blends with vials that you can smell (really smart and innovative for a small tea house). The decor was so cute, plenty of small tables and a couple of small couches. Possibly a Harry Potter theme (I'm not into the books but saw several references). Now on the other side of things, the service was... something I hope improves. The waiter was really nice but so vague when it came to prices/options. To a point where he completely contradicted himself TWICE. Once with a tea request (we picked a pot over a cup based on his recommendation, and it was probably more worthwhile to have ordered multiple teas). Secondly, he misspoke on a price that I asked specifically to clarify - so I got charged more than double. It's just the communication that was unclear overall. Lastly, the manager/owner was just not friendly. If I met her out and about, I wouldn't think much of it. But knowing she was running the business, makes me question going back.
