The chicken that I went to eat yesterday afternoon was so bad that I was vomiting all day yesterday and now I am on medication, I don't recommend it, I didn't finish the whole meal, it was my first and last time in Coming here because the chicken was saved and there was too much mayonnaise.

It simply fascinates me! All their food offering is delicious. The tray paisa, the lomo saltado, the salted noodles, their incredible empanadas, make homemade a great choice to share and delight the palate in Oceanside! Blessed restaurant, at a good time.

I can't rave about this place enough. The owners goal was to create home cooked meals and they did that perfectly! I'm not Peruvian/Columbian so I can't speak to the authenticity of the food but my taste buds don't care what origin food comes from so it's amazing. We were supposed to leave some for my son to try and my partner (who has the most self control I've ever seen) could not stop taking "one more bite". We got the Pollo Saltado, pan de bono, pork tamal, and baked empanada (this one isnt gluten free). Every item's flavor was vastly different from the last. You can tell they don't lazily season the food with the same seasonings.
The cashier was so knowledgeable about gluten and cross contamination that it put a huge smile on my face to feel so safe that I wouldn't end up with food poisoning symptoms. He took the time to point out all the options they have which were pretty substantial. THERES BREAD! And not just any bread. Amazing cheesy bread that almost reminds me of a mochi donut in consistency but make it savory. He was knowledgeable to know that the fried empanada is gluten friendly but isn't gluten free due to the oil not being separated. The baked empanada isn't gluten free due to the dough used. So neither is gluten free but they are very knowledgeable as to all the terminology and cross contamination.
We were so amazed by the experience that we are considering having them cater for our wedding??

It is probably not the BEST photo but I loved the Pernil sandwich today! Mustard sauce was very unique and in-house guava bakery is my favorite dessert! Employees are super nice and service is good! I am willing to visit again. It is not a secret that I ended up eating more than a half of food on-site.
