Had the special and it was fabulous. The salsa was incredible. I would highly recommend this restaurant!!

I had the special, shrimp enchiladas!! YUUUUMMMM!! Comfortable atmosphere. WONDERFUL housemade salsa! Definitely going back.

Great place for mexican food. The owner is super nice and attentive. Ordered the quesabirria tacos, so good and jucy. Highly recommend!

Great Mexican food. Absolutely the best mixed fajitas of any restaurant I've tried near Oceanside. For many years, they were the cheapest fajitas too. It's a small place with walk-up/counter ordering. Parking is generally pretty easy as well. Great service too.

Had the chicken tortilla soup. Very tasty and good portion for the money. Nicely prepared in a flavorful broth containing large chunks of tender chicken and vegetables. I especially like the chunks of avocado. Nice touch. Friendly service as well.

Used to consider this a great value for good neighborhood Tex/Mexican. Recent visit was disappointing. Literally flavorless tacos. Smaller portions and shockingly high new prices. No air conditioning on a super hot day; front doors just wide open for the flies to visit your food. An initial serving of chips and salsa is offered free, and they are better than the cooked food. Every place eventually loses its focus and appeal, and they can't figure out why business is off. This place has a lot of fans, but the restaurant/bar business has slowed due to gas prices and everything else going up so fast. I hope Ceja's can figure it out.

great customer service good food

Make sure you check your food order if nobody is at the counter before leaving this place. I was charged full price and had so much food missing from my order.

rice was cold and hard.Carnitas had same amount of fat as pork

Ordered a chili Verde burrito. The customer service was great, extremely nice and courteous. However the burrito was so bland. Meat was tasteless. The texture of the meat was more like roast beef also, instead of the traditional tezturw of pork I expect in a chili verde burrito. The chili verde sauce even tasted watered down essentially. Would not recommend.

Unpleasant atmosphere. Cook was staring at me crazy from the back. Food was average at best. Hate leaving reviews but just was not a pleasant experience. To top it off salsa was canned and asked for more tortillas and they charged me another 4.00 for the tortillas, which I don’t mind paying but it was just rude and condescending the way they went about it. Maybe it was just an off day.

Was craving Chicken Tortilla Soup. Excellent service. Very large portioned but totally bland, 100% tasteless chicken soup.

Great food, staff and prices!!. The employees are awesome and friendly!! Outside and inside seating is a plus. They also serve draft and bottled beer and drinks. Parking easy and close. Would recommend!! Their fries are so good!!
