This spot hits home for me as this was always a go to spot for when I was in the military. After visiting again after 20 plus years it's still the taste amazing and the food is amazing and you will not leave hungry from this place thar fir sure. I had the Carne Asada burrito with fresh pico..?My gf had the shrimp and steak burrito with rice and beans it too was amazing.

The photos here don’t do this place justice. They also have the quesadilla suprema (if I remember the name right) which I only saw a couple friends eat but it looks amazing, and the first bite I took of my carne asada burrito was pure bliss. It’s also in a very nice location to go walking around so I suggest you head there now, grab a burrito box and walk around downtown San Diego.
Parking: You’ll have to look around for parking, one option is paid parking lots; we parked on Cleveland st and walked a mile.

Went in there to grab a bite to eat. Every time I try a new Mexican restaurant, I always try their California burrito. I ordered it, and I was not disappointed. It was size of a small football. Very good portion size! Thank you Colima's!
