Copper Kings Burgers

I recently visited Copper Kings and had a pretty mixed experience. The bartender was great and the drinks were solid, and when the barbecue burger finally arrived, it was delicious. But unfortunately, the wait was really long—I ordered around 6:40 PM and didn’t get my food until after 8:00 PM.

What really stood out, though, was how the management handled—or didn’t handle—the delay. I grew up in the restaurant business and usually you’d expect a manager to come by, offer maybe an appetizer or a drink, or at least communicate more. Instead, I felt kind of brushed off, which was disappointing. So while the food is good, I’d really love to see them step up their customer service game.

Food was good, customer service was ok. The venue and atmosphere is good. It's an order at the bar venue with restaurant full service prices. If I'm rating it as a bar with food I would give it four stars.

Looks like a street side old restaurant. Offers very good food. Has a very long bar if you like. Me and my co-worker ordered their burger, so delicious.

I recommend everyone to come check out this place. Vory, behind the counter, was amazing. She provided excellent service and was super nice. She helped and suggested a burger and fries that were just delicious. The vibe was great, but having someone passionate about their work like Vory just makes the experience much more pleasant and enjoyable. I give this place a 5 and Vory a 10!

Is ok, but they food take 45 minutes for burger. And that time we there, is not to much peoples.

we had a chance to experience these burgers on halloween night and what a treat. i honestly dont know what im going to do since i live out of town because its the best burger and fries ive ever had. i will dream about the cajun fries. how are they so crispy? the service was also above and beyond. our server with the little devil horns was a doll and let us know that everything is made in house. that is incredibly impressive and i feel lucky to have had tried it.

My first visit and I was so impressed with my burger. It was great from start to finish. Quality ingredients, cooked to perfection, and taste was excellent. I will be back at the next opportunity. Great service, friendly atmosphere, and I felt welcomed.

This place is a gem! For being a slightly self-service ( you order through your phone or at the bar) the service was amazing! From the moment we walked in everyone was friendly. Someone came over to ask if it was our first time there (it was) and they walked us through the menu and showed us how to order. Every staff member stopped by through out the meal to ask how everything was. The food was AMAZING I ordered the Western burger and it was fresh, delicious and a really good size. We also split the farm hand fries. The fries were perfectly crisp, the ranch tasted freshly made if you like dill you'll love the ranch. The bacon on the fries was excellent quality as well. It also had fresh red onions and tomatoes. It was a generous size as well. We are out in Oceanside but would definitely make the trip to San Marcos to eat here again!
