Crab Pub - Oceanside

Crab Pub is one of my go-to spots when I’m craving seafood that actually hits. The moment you walk in, the vibe is casual, lively, and perfect for getting messy with a boil bag and not caring at all. The staff is always friendly and super quick, and they make you feel welcome right away.

The food is honestly the reason I keep coming back. Their seafood boils are packed with flavor—never bland, never watery. The sauce choices are bold, buttery, garlicky, and exactly what you want when you’re ready to get your hands dirty. I usually go for the house blend, and it always sticks perfectly to the shrimp, crab legs, corn, and potatoes. Everything tastes fresh, cooked just right, and served hot. The portions are generous too, so you never leave hungry.

I also love that they give you options: spice levels, add-ins, different seafood combos, and sides that actually complement the meal instead of feeling like an afterthought.

Crab Pub is one of those spots that’s perfect for date night, group dinners, or when you just want some comfort food that’s full of flavor. Always hits the spot, every time.

We’ve been twice now and it has been flawless every time. The snow crab is incredibly juicy, tender, and fresh. Honestly some of the best we’ve had.

We’ve been going to Crab Hut for many years and loved it, but Crab Pub has completely won us over. The quality and juiciness of the crab here truly stand out.

We ordered three pounds of snow crab and crab poppers with the garlic butter sauce, half medium spice, and it’s the perfect level of heat—flavorful, rich, and not overpowering.

Our server Hau suggested getting Cajun spice on the crab poppers, and that took them to a 10/10—bold, crispy, and absolutely perfect for sharing.

A huge shoutout to Hau, who has helped us both visits. He is an amazing server—super fast, respectful, and extremely knowledgeable about the menu. He’s never steered us wrong and is always so pleasant to chat with, which makes the experience even better.

Also worth mentioning: the bathrooms are spotless, a detail that really reflects how well this place is run.

Between the food quality, incredible service, and attention to detail, this is now our go-to seafood spot in Oceanside. Highly recommend. 🦀✨

Honestly, best seafood boil in all of San Diego. I’m a connoisseur and I’m picky with the sauce. These guys are consistently good with the sauce. Quality seafood is a must too. Billy and Miles were great. I’ll be coming back

10 out of 10 ambiance service hospitality. Food was a hit. Go for the medium level spicy to enjoy it and kick back drink some bomb soju with your family and enjoy your night shout out to our Server Silly Billy top notch service bring the kids for a nice relaxing great time

Food was delicious the service was quick. Honestly surprised more people don't dine in as much. There is a bar with plenty of options and there are TV's wrapped around the whole dinning area. Me and my wife love this place.

We liked the fried 🦐 shrimp dishes we ordered and they were enough for 2 meals, however my Bud Light draft tasted watered down 👎. Server would have replaced it, but we had an appointment.

My fam and I primped our nails down the sidewalk. After watching their TVs yummily showing crab this and crab that, we tried Crab Hub. The place is big with a full bar and hanging fish; felt desolate at 1pm for lunch. Music kinda loud and very specific genre. Staff was genuinely kind and even exchanged the small blue crab for King legs after my mom (a crab queen!) said the blue wasn't to her liking. Sis and I had a small bowl of N.E. Clam Chowda' which equaled any brand can. Prices are $$ and even $$$-$$$$ for some families. Since I don't see the delish and quality factor for the price, better to buy a Costco seafood extravaganza, paper over your own table and enjoy.

Finally got to check out this seafood boil spot & it did not disappoint! The servers were all very nice, the restaurant is huge, the music was great & the food was delicious. I got a pound of shrimp & frozen crawfish with the pub style for seasoning & it was amazing. Their spice levels are on the spicier end, so be prepared to order one level down. I’m so happy there’s a good spot in the area now!

Crab over cooked. Good for people that don’t know what a true crab broil tastes like. Not true Cajun. Great service.
