Crab Pub - Oceanside

We liked the fried 🦐 shrimp dishes we ordered and they were enough for 2 meals, however my Bud Light draft tasted watered down 👎. Server would have replaced it, but we had an appointment.

My fam and I primped our nails down the sidewalk. After watching their TVs yummily showing crab this and crab that, we tried Crab Hub. The place is big with a full bar and hanging fish; felt desolate at 1pm for lunch. Music kinda loud and very specific genre. Staff was genuinely kind and even exchanged the small blue crab for King legs after my mom (a crab queen!) said the blue wasn't to her liking. Sis and I had a small bowl of N.E. Clam Chowda' which equaled any brand can. Prices are $$ and even $$$-$$$$ for some families. Since I don't see the delish and quality factor for the price, better to buy a Costco seafood extravaganza, paper over your own table and enjoy.

Finally got to check out this seafood boil spot & it did not disappoint! The servers were all very nice, the restaurant is huge, the music was great & the food was delicious. I got a pound of shrimp & frozen crawfish with the pub style for seasoning & it was amazing. Their spice levels are on the spicier end, so be prepared to order one level down. I’m so happy there’s a good spot in the area now!

Ridiculously overpriced! The staff was too busy watching TV & chatting with each other to provide decent service. UFC highlights were on the TV at the bar. I literally watched a guy pin another guy while blood dripped front him nose all over the pinned guy. It was disgusting to be subject to that while eating at the bar.

Delicious. We got shrimp, scallops, corn, potatoes and sausage. We got the medium heat old bay seasoning. It was a spicy medium (which I loved) but if you are concerned they have a half medium.

We waited an hour for our food, only to receive small portions for a $100 meal meant for two. The sausage was extremely thin, and the overall portion size was disappointing. The food, though decent in taste, was overcooked. It also took 25 minutes just to place our order. Overall, the experience did not meet our expectations.

Our local fam wanted to try this place. It was a late Sunday lunch, early dinner before leaving Oceanside. Our server was very great and she gave good recommendations. Had 2 pounds of the shrimp n 1 pound of mussels. Didn't seem like a pound of mussels though and shrimp were almost jumbo size. Corn on the cob pieces were 1/4 size, 4 bites it was done. Other similar places give slightly bigger cobs. Delicious 😋 clam chowder, was nice with good size garlic toast, I'm a fan of it Definitely a must to eat. Fries n chicken wings 4/5 stars. They had a small bar enjoyable for 1 person visitor, but I wasn't able to pass by it.
1st impression very clean, well kept. Plenty of televisions to watch the afternoon NFL games. This place has available rooms for very large parties or gatherings.
Large parking lot shared with grocery chain and Fitness gym.

Was a good crab bag with pork sausage, potatoes and corn. I got the Cajun seasoning and was supposed to be medium but it was hot. I like spicy but I wanted to taste the crab but my lips were burning. This did not take away from the good taste of the food. It was very light on business and the staff was on point with everything. Good place to try.
