This is the BEST Indian restaurant in all of SoCal hands down. Chef Obie is legendary and the goat cheese naan was devoured by my three year old daughter. We got the Lamb Korma and Coconut chicken and both exceeded our expectations. Have been to dozens of Indians restaurants in New York,New Jersey,and Socal and nothing compares to the flavors here.

Missed giving naan which was part of the order. When I asked him he said it was delivered to the next table. Still charged 18% gratuity despite the miss and didnt give me a chance to remove the gratuity. This happened on July 21 at 8.30pm. Owner please take note. Update- owner replies that the party was large. So what? Food was ordered separately. Billing was separate. Check your records. Dont lie. Order has to be delivered to the right table. You charged us for something we didn't get and added a gratuity of 18% for a poor job. Unacceptable. Stay away from this restaurant

I have been a regular at the San Marcos location for years, but this was my first time at the Oceanside location. The staff handled our large party efficiently. The service was attentive, and the kitchen delivered without delay.
I had lamb roganjosh and biryani. The roganjosh was bold and well-balanced, biryani had the right amount of spice. I also had the lamb shank, which was tender, as expected based on past visits to their other location.
Chef Obi is outstanding—not just an incredible cook but a genuinely great guy. He went out of his way to accommodate us, and the food was spectacular. One of our family members was so impressed that he got up to personally thank the chef, saying it might have been the best meal he's ever had!
Kid-friendliness: We had three young kids, ages 3 to 10, and they all enjoyed the meal.
Most reliable place for Indian food I’ve found. Their beef korma is soooo good. Very pleasant staff. Try their coconut soup too. It’s delicious

Food is great. Came in a few times but my wife never wants to go in anymore, thought to share some feedback to help. Atmosphere is jarring for us with the bright lights that are flickering because of fan. Any lighting change to make it cozier would be amazing or turn them off the fans if not too hot. I will fix this review to five stars later just wanted to pass the lighting feedback.

Got takeout here late tonight after a really long day. They were so kind when I picked it up, then I got back to the hotel and tasted the food---the best Matar Paneer I've ever had. Balanced, delicious, perfect. Fluffy, beautiful rice. Perfect Naan. I've never been so happy with a meal. My sister loved the samosas with tamarind chutney as well. 10/10 recommend!

Only been twice, for takeout both times. Such good and filling food. I'm a vegetarian, boyfriend can't have dairy. We have lots of options here and it's fantastic. Their suggestions are on point.
I have had Indian food in Wisconsin, Illinois, Texas, Vermont, Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, Indiana, Minnesota, Missouri, Nevada, Utah, and California so far. 'Curry and More' is by far the BEST! And "Oby" is a very welcoming host and quite an impressive fella!
Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian options...
Kadhai paneer is my favourite since it is full of vegetables (Onions, tomatoes, green peppers,...), excellent blend of spices, and easy on my digestion :)

One of my worst experiences dinning out in Oside we've eat for lunch a year ago and it was fine! However tonight the lamb was as dry and dead on arrival the Tandoori chicken was even worse. They say they beat Bobby Flay from Food Network maybe year's ago but today they couldn't or shouldn't show up.....

Traveling through Oceanside with family .. ordered Biriyani , Paneer Makhani and Roti to go . The roti and paneer makhani was good. But the biriyani was more like a chicken curry rice , I would have appreciated while taking the order if the person would have said they are out of biriyani … it was really disappointing opening the box and tasting a rice mixed with a curry .
