Davina's has been a frequent stop for us for quite a while. We again visited Davina's yesterday (21 December 2019) but it was closed. The signs on the door only read, "under construction" without any additional information. I do know the last time we visited the bartender mentioned that with the Oceanside "landscape" changing, including multiple condos and apartments being placed in between Davina's and the oceanfront, there were many changes coming. It is unfortunate, for them, that the Oceanside upgrade will remove the long-standing view they've had of the ocean. Regardless, I do hope they are making a comeback after the construction - this had always been a great place to stop in and relax for a while....

Great find with amazing 2 for 1 happy hour! However stay away from the skinny margarita an djust order regular ones. Food was typical. Mexican fare and arrive was friendly and quick.

A group of friends and I ended up here on a Thursday night. It was racy busy do to the sunset Market going on but the service was terrible. The happy hour deals were good, 2 for 1 drinks but the atmosphere and service was terrible. We order drinks and a few moments later we ordered food. Out food was delivered before our drinks and we could not find our server anywhere to order more items so we paid and left.

I came here with my spouse and friends. I was a regular here since it was really good for happy hour and I lived in Oceanside which made it a plus by the beach but one day, my spouse and I and some friends had gone for happy hour the guy served my partner a drink that tasted like pure juice no alcohol and my partner told the bartender gentleman if he could make it stronger the guy caught an attitude and refused service and when I wanted to order he refused service to me because I was with him and told me if I gave him any of my drink he would not serve me! Horrible service!! I would never ever recommend so ghetto they need to change the team up for better service or retrain. It's always putting customers first to provide the best experience!! Thumbs down!!

We stopped in based on a recommendation. The bottom floor was completely empty so we headed upstairs. We were a party of 6 but easily found seats at a long table. That's when things went wrong. The server brought the menus over and they were sticky, torn, moldy and practically illegible. My mom took my nephew to the restroom and said it smelled horrible and was filthy. We ordered drinks which were 2 for 1 (this was the only positive). The place is falling apart and the food was brought up on uncovered plates in an elevator from the first floor. After experiencing all these things we decided to just pay the bill and leave. I would not recommend unless you're a college kid just looking to get wasted and don't care about cleanliness. I don't know how this place has an A health rating! I'm not buying it!
Their fish tacos are really good! And happy hour is amazing, 2 drinks for 1. We ate upstairs and there is a nice view. The only reason I gave 4 instead of 5 stars was bcus the music is always so loud that you have to keep on repeating your order to the waiter's. But that won't stop me from coming back.

Best Happy Hour! 2 for 1 drinks everyday! Great staff! Luke, Anthony and Divina (I think that's her name) are awesome, Jeremy is really cool too! General manager Brett? Is a great guy as well! The rooftop is where all the fun is, until the basement opens!

I'm upset that I even have to leave a star. Me and my husband arrived at 6:20 pm. By 6:30 someone came to halfway clean the table and stated someone would be right with us. At 6:40 yet another waiter came to clean the other half of our table and once again stated that someone would be right with us. We sat there for another 20 mins watching the waiters walk by our table at least 3 times each without acknowledging us at all. We finally had no choice but to leave after spending almost an hour being completed ignored by everyone in the bar. I have been to this place many times and seen in much busier and been served in a more timely manner. I will never go to this place again.

Was on vacation in Oceanside and found this gem. Best happy hour and late night food I've ever had. I highly recommend the chicken flautas and chicken enchiladas. For drinks I'd try the sancho!! The roof top patio also sets a nice relaxing tone.

just basic everything. good spot for happy hour but food was nothing to talk about. drinks were just okay, my rye was served in a dirty glass but not priced like a dive bar. the patio is nice for groups although esp with fire pits there.

Their fish tacos are really good! And happy hour is amazing, 2 drinks for 1. We ate upstairs and there is a nice view.
