Such a cute spot for awesome matcha! I often make matchas at home and am very picky when it comes to taste! This is the best matcha I've had in San Diego! We got the strawberry and the ube with the strawberry being our favorite! Perfectly sweet and creamy! We will definitely be back to get our matcha fix!

If you are a matcha lover, highly recommend this place! It’s so hard to find good quality matcha out at a shop. I had the mango matcha, which can be hard to master since usually one ingredient overpowers the rest. Dayon’s matcha was rich, smooth, and not overly sweet. The mango was subtly sweet and complimented the matcha perfectly. I look forward to trying more things on their menu! Go support local and small businesses like Dayon! ☀️

On my quest to find ube AND matcha, I stumbled upon this family owned small food truck and I left with no regrets. The matcha foam with Ube was absolutely delicious. While waiting on the latte to be made, the owner and I chatted away — she is honestly so personable and sweet. Anyway, back to the food, the ube syrup and matcha foam are handmade. The ube syrup is organic — it’s obvious there are no artificial sweeteners added and the result is an authentic ube flavor. I loved it so much, I had my boyfriend try it (someone who is NOT a fan of matcha or ube usually), and he was just as obsessed with the rich flavor as I was. He even went back and ordered his own! Suffice to say, we are going to go back tomorrow before our flight back to NY!

First time in San Diego, came here 10/11/2025 and they gave the best customer service providing me recommendations and making sure I was comfortable with the milk options. Prices are very reasonable with how delicious the drinks taste. I got the Ube Cream Top Matcha large, it was the perfect amount of sweetness and Ube flavor. Salamat Po Tita! (I also highly recommend the Ube bread!! So soft and flavorful!)

Dayon Coffee is such a gem! It opened near my home a few months ago and has quickly become my go to spot. Their Banana Latte is amazing, and the chocolate s’mores cookie is the perfect treat. Even though I have plenty of big coffee chains nearby, I always choose Coffee the quality and taste are unmatched. Plus, it’s the only coffee that leaves me feeling energized instead of sluggish. Highly recommend!
