Food is not great but is good. Service very poorly, when we got the coffee, we added sugar and créame, but we didn't had a utensils to mixed, I had to stand up and ask for a stir stick. The stuff then noticed that, we didn't have utensils and apologize. We asked for more napkins, they forget to bring it, once again I had to stand up and asked for it. I have to said that the country fry chicken, taste like home made, and the gravy was delicious.

Great food! Good homestyle breakfast. Service was good too, he checked on us several times and kept drinks filled. Very small diner, we sat outside on the street but it was comfortable and not too loud from traffic. I went on a Friday. I suspect they are very busy on the weekends. Definitely on our list of places to return to.

Don’s Country Kitchen is a must-visit for brunch in Oceanside! Huge portions, flavorful dishes like the Chorizo Benedict and stuffed hashbrowns, and excellent coffee make every meal memorable. Cozy indoor seating and a heated, dog-friendly patio create a welcoming vibe. The staff is attentive and friendly, even during busy weekends. Parking can be tight, but the food and service are well worth it. Highly recommended!

Incredible experience. A jewel of a place. The food was as good as promised. Mckena, our server promised us a great meal and was not lying. The food was great. I had the French toast combo with scramble heads and bacon. The eggs were scrambled and cooked to my satisfaction, the French toast was delicious. My wife, Karen, had one of the breakfast burritos and it was amazing. Next time in town, we will definitely be back. Highly recommend Dons Country Kitchen in Oceanside to anyone looking for great value, good food , and exceptional service.
