It was great to finally eat here because of how ingrained in me the importance of this brand is and my dining experience here definitely confirmed that. My dad would tell me over and over and over again that Warren Stoll of Beverly Hills had made a major franchises agreement with this corporation and I never understood why nothing came of it. Loco.
Without mentioning the region attached to said major franchises agreement I would like to say thank you to Mr Puzzle for his YouTube videos and I would like also to solve a puzzle.
There are thousands and thousands of nuclear tipped missiles but Harry put a lock on them. He left us with a puzzle that hasn't been solved. Yet.

Food was good, people friendly but they totally messed up my order (the order on the receipt was correct) Like 3 things were incorrect. I ate it anyway because i hate complaining and don’t trust people not to spit in my food lol. Paid $17 for one item and a drink. Pretty insane.

Drive thru guy attitude was horrible. Didn’t want to give us salsa or anything we asked for and didn’t give us our drink. HORRIBLE SERVICE.
This is my favorite El Pollo Loco in San Diego County. I have lived all over the county, and in 35 years here, have been to quite a few of the El Pollo restaurants. There's just a really good vibe at this location, and whenever I come there I feel it, I can't explain it. Treat the staff nicely and they will treat you nice back.
The food is always good and the service is always great. There is always parking, and the drive thru is quick. They deserve recognition for making this a great place to visit, and I hope you get to check them out soon, and give them the appreciation they deserve.
And no, I do not personally know the owner or the employees, this is an honest review from someone who has visited there at least 20 times over the years. I have been lazy about putting out reviews the past few years, but I think I'm going to pick up pace again, because I have noticed lately that having access to reviews of places to live and places to shop, etc., has really helped me elevate my own personal experience, by allowing me to make well informed choices.
If you want to save a few dollars, make sure that you have the app and you sign up for rewards and deals. Check your app for internet specials and such. Make sure to have the employee scan your barcode on the app when you make a purchase, so you can get points. On your birthday they will also send you a $5 coupon for any purchase
