This is my favorite El Pollo Loco in San Diego County. I have lived all over the county, and in 35 years here, have been to quite a few of the El Pollo restaurants. There's just a really good vibe at this location, and whenever I come there I feel it, I can't explain it. Treat the staff nicely and they will treat you nice back.

The food is always good and the service is always great. There is always parking,
and the drive thru is quick....

It's not as good as it used to be. The lack of salsa bar with 8 types of salsa is a big deal.

Edited to add - In response to owner comment. It doesn't require more details. There used to be a salsa bar with several choices. Now youre given a skimpy little pack of sauce and have to ask for more.

This is the nicest Pollo I've ever been to ? Friendly crew , super fast , good food , clean store. Can I nominate Minerva for employee of the month ? Thanks again ya'll ?
