Delicious and fresh food. We had the mixed ceviche, chicken nachos, pork belly, birria tacos, and the chicken burrito... everyone enjoyed their food. Two servers for the amount of guests appeared a bit too tasking; we had to flag them down and exercise patience; nonetheless, we appreciate that they did their best.

Greeted as soon as we walked in.This place was mentioned by staff at Rage & Escape Rooms (same shopping center). We decided to give it a try after our rage session and I’m soooo glad we did because it did not disappoint! My son had the carne asada fries, he mentioned they were absolutely delicious, I had the aguachile, probably the best I’ve had and my sister had the taco plate.I recommend trying the Mexican Candy drink.I had a great time eating delicious food at your restaurant.Happy to return.

This place is a hidden gem in Oceanside! A friend and I visited Evaga since we wanted chips/salsa, tacos and margaritas! We had the quesobirria tacos with consume, rice/beans and everything was delicious! We tried 4 of their drinks (classic marg, Mexican candy, double P, and watermelon Paloma) all 10/10! Mexican candy is definitely my favorite. The restaurant was quite empty but the service, music and food/drinks were impeccable. Mike, the co-owner served us and was friendly, funny and attentive. He even gave us some info about their upcoming events! Can't wait to go back and try their other dishes!

This place has it figured out. Great food! Great drinks! And great service! The owner introduced himself and helped us select some unique drinks and food. The hibiscus margarita is amazing. Like being on vacation in your own town.

George is a great host and the food and drinks are above average.

The food was absolutely incredible. They first start you off with free fresh corn tortilla chips that are warm and fresh with an epic salsa. They serve breakfast all day long so I ordered the steak and egg burrito. It was massive and delicious. My wife got the Vega Fries which she really enjoyed as well. They have a lot of seafood options and breakfast options, I really like that compared to the Taco Shops around here. The owners are named George and Mine and they introduced themselves right away. So friend and they both had wonderful service. The ambiance is great. This is a great place to watch a game. They have 5 TVs and a large bar that seats about 20. They have 10 taps of all craft beer and Modelo and also a pretty epic bourbon selection, pro tip, ask George about what bourbon he has because it's not all shown. Overall my experience was an A+++++. I will definitely be back.

The quesabirria tacos were really good. The broth was rich and flavorful. The chef has some creative things on the menu. I really wanted to try the birria ramen, but already ordered too many things.

Birria tacos were very good. Chips were below average. Salsa tasted canned. Guacamole was super bland. Baja Fish taco was nothing to write home about. Drinks were pretty good. Service was stellar. Sadly, doesn't make up for the mediocre food.

This is a great restaurant! It has a bit of a sports bar atmosphere, in the best possible way.Absolutely delicious cocktails and food! Homemade tortillas for their tacos & enchiladas.Completely authentic Mexican cuisine. Great chips & salsa(s) - ask for the tomatillo Verde Salsa, you can thank me later. Killer carnitas, crispy & juicy. Big fat all-chicken enchiladas. Great rice and beans. The "Mexican Candy" cocktail & the Hibiscus Margarita were fantastic.Food & drinks were reasonably priced particularly considering the quality. 2 round of drinks & 2 combo plates were about $75.Owner/ Partners George out front & Mike behind the bar have an excellent understanding of hospitality. This will be our "go to" sit down Mexican spot.Dietary restrictions: GF friendly even though it is not specifically mentioned.Parking: Nice big free parking lot.Kid-friendliness: Wide open space. A couple of claw machines.
