This was one of the best bbq and soul food places in San Diego County. Everything was delicious! An abundance of fresh vegetables, meats and scrumptious food. I felt like I was visiting my mom in the Bay Area or my family that lives in Louisiana. I hope create one down town San Diego.

This place is great to eat, the one plate that I got was the four platter, with your selection of four meats, then four sides 😀, and I couldn't finish it all with the two of us 🤣

This writer was pleasant surprise with the atmosphere of this restaurant. As a traveling traveler, we were greeted with old-fashioned welcome and the food was superb.. The fried chicken was fried to perfection and macaroni cheese with like grandma macaroni and cheese. And they brought the cornbread as part of the serving.
