Sam and Karla always have a smile for their customers. I can rate it 11 out of 10. I highly recommend this place.

Everything on the menu sounded good so it was hard to pick just one thing! We ended up ordering some tacos and shared chips and guacamole. Everything was SO GOOD. Maybe the best guacamole I’ve ever had. We will definitely be going back to try more things on the menu! We ordered online and picked up our food so can’t comment too much on atmosphere or service, but our order was ready within 10-15 minutes of us ordering on a Saturday night!

Excellent. Wish I found it sooner. Sat at the bar and had a large michelada w/ complementary chips n salsa. Very good ? Ordered 1 fish, 1 grilled fish and 1 garlic shrimp taco. All 3 were very good and very large. One taco with chips is probably enough for most people. I ended up taking the fish tacos home and eating them for dinner. They were excellent. The bartender also gifted me with a fresh cup of seafood soup. That was excellent as well. It was all so good. I wish I were there now?

Outstanding, original and delicious. I come here once or twice a year when visiting Oceanside, and before when it was ‘Miramar’ was a hidden gem, but now as Four Tunas, they have upgraded everything and the experience is nothing short of epic. We popped in just for quick Tamarind margaritas and 2 tacos— octopus and smoked tuna. All to die for. Can’t wait to get back to try more from their diverse menu.

Best fresh Margaritas in town. Good food for take out or dine in . Highly recommend the margaritas
I had the fried sea bass at it was really really good. Cooked to perfection ! I had them turn the game on and they were so kind to do so. This will be a cool little hang out spot for a beer and good seafood at a reasonable price ! I will be back, to support this small business owner. The place has very friendly staff and nice ambience.

Decent fish tacos. You need to ask for limes, even though it should be automatic for fish tacos. You actually get lemons though which are not preferable at all. Fish tacos are kind of dry to begin with, no sauce or mayo on them, I would ask for a side of chipotle sauce with the order. They’re kind of small also, order enough. The Jamaica has a cinnamon flavor which they should disclose upfront, not good at all. (Some people could be allergic also) salsas are good though, the green one has a good kick. Complementary chips are always nice, and a side soup if you ask for it. Service varies. My first visit some gentlemen treated us great, today, the woman who attended us was not super pleasant or attentive. And there was a hair on the one of the taco’s, no comp or apology, just a remake. Just being honest, the place is OK and probably hit or miss, just make sure you ask for everything you need upfront otherwise it will get to your table once your food is either cold or you just decided to finish it.

Just tried this restaurant for the first time. Greatness. Shrimp fajitas were awesome. Fish tacos were huge. Very light batter. Delicious. Very fresh. Baja Mexican food at it's finest. Trust me, you will love it.

We’ve been wanting to try this place since they opened, figured taco Tuesday would be a good chance to give it a try. The fish taco was delicious, and the smoked tuna taco was phenomenal! Their salsas are great too, very fresh tasting. We all loved the salsa roja in the squeeze bottle that comes with your order. It was really garlicky and a little creamy. The creamy salsa verde was also great. Their chips were also fresh and crunchy. Feels like a bit of Ensenada right here in Oceanside. Looking forward to coming back and trying more options!

I remember coming to this location when it was Miramar Fish Tacos & Beer. I was never a big fan unfortunately but I was excited to see a new tenant in this spot and my wife and daughter and I came to check them out.
There is limited seating inside, but there is also a patio. The place is air-conditioned but they kept all the doors wide open. We have great weather here but it was quite warm outside, so I'm not sure why they do this. We had some flies visit us at our table.
After ordering, we got complimentary chips & salsa. Note: only the first round is free. If you ask for more chips, they will charge you. The salsa is good and VERY hot so be warned.
We just ordered two things: the Aguachile Sampler ($23.95) and the Molcajete ($21.95). We love aguachile, when it's done right. Some places just don't do it correctly. Mariscos Hualtulco on Mission is a place that does it the best.
Four Tunas version is okay, but only the Verde or green version. We also tried the 3 Chiles and Tamarindo versions and while my wife loved the Tamarindo, none of us liked the 3 Chile. It was bizarrely sweet and we were afraid the Mango would be sweet too. Aguachile should never be sweet. And although the Verde version has some spice to it, it should be much hotter.
The real star of the show for us was the Molcajete. Wow! So much value for what you get. We were STUFFED and still didn't finish the whole thing. Shrimp, Smoked tuna, Cheese, Arrachera steak, Serrano chili, and Mushrooms on top of scorching Molcajete with side of (flour) tortillas. Our only complaint: not enough tortillas. We had to ask for more. They gave us two more for $1 extra. Not bad really but I just wish they gave us four tortillas to start because they are quite small.
The smoked tuna was fantastic and the grilled shrimp and steak just hit the mark. Damn, so good. I want this every time we come and for just $22 it's a bargain. I wasn't fond of the aluminum foil that was used inside the molcajete, however. It's like: what's the point of the molcajete then? This is the only place that I've been to that does that.
We also got a 16 oz Stone beer ($8) and a red wine ($8.75) and a Jamaica ($5.95). The wine pour is very small. They do not have a liquor license from what I can see, so I doubt the margaritas have any tequila, FYI.
Overall, we are impressed enough with Four Tunas to want to come back and try the other specialties. They know how to cook for sure and the staff is very nice.
At the end of service, they gave me the payment kiosk and I added my card. They walked away too while I was adding the tip too which is nice. No pressure of them eyeballing you as you're signing. Other restaurants take note!

This area of Oceanside needs more restaurants like this!! As a young, health-focused family living off the 76, we’ve been frustrated with the limited lunch/dinner options (most are greasy fast food, which isn’t our vibe). We were so excited to see Four Tunas pop up! The fish and shrimp tacos were excellent! The menu has tons of variety and options from fish burritos to seafood platters, so we’re excited to come back to try more! Atmosphere and service were also great for a casual dinner. We ate inside, but we look forward to enjoying the patio space, too. Way to go Four Tunas!
