Frida’s Taqueria Oceanside

It's a nice place to eat and the drinks are good! The prices have going up unfortunately. Maria the cashier is really nice and you can tell she goes above and beyond. It's a shame I don't see her there as often anymore. Good workers are hard to find nowadays.

Love Fridas. Just did an uber eats order. Didn’t get 3/4 of our order. The new number (442) doesn’t answer nor has a voicemail set up. Got fries. Didn’t order those. Would love our rice and tacos. Would love a phone that works to call you to get the rest of our order. We did get our corn quesadilla.. doesn’t taste like it normally does.

I’ve been in Oceanside for about 3 years now and have tried various Mexican restaurants. Fridas carne asada burrito and carne asada fries beats most of the local Mexican restaurants in Oceanside.

Very clean inside not so clean out outside.

The service sucks. Do not forget your soda if you order it. You will not be allowed to get it as soon as you leave that door. The cashier was cold and dismissive.

I loved the food at Frida's, but there has been a few times where the meat has been salty. The guys at the service window are always on point with my order. The music can sometimes be too loud and you may need to raise your voice to order.

Great taqueria. They add guac 🥑 like in Baja. There is a small salsa bar with great tasting salsas. Then you can order fried onions and chiles for free. The tacos are tasty and made fresh.

Horrible customer service by the cashier waters are not the best food is not good they keep their doors open and flies are inside and you can’t eat

What a pleasant staff. They were so nice and helpful. The food was really good. Pastor tacos and carne asada very well done. Flavorful.
No A/C which made it a bit warm inside.

Went on Taco Tuesday when they have their special on tacos. Worth it , will try again. Be aware sometimes the line is out the the door so the wait can be a while.

I came here on a taco Tuesday and was really really happy I did. I had 3 Carne Asada Tacos and was blown away by how delicious the meat was. The beautiful girl taking orders was super sweet and helpful. The service was quick and painless. The tacos were amazing. I will definitely be going back.

Food is delicious, probably one of the best better taquerias in town. However, service needs to improve as the process to get your food takes too long and it’s not just cause the lines are long. It’s the process. Music is a little too loud. I like the music but I’d like to have conversations in the restaurant without having to raise my voice.
