Went to order food late night with my Wife. While trying to decide which drink to buy, with no one else behind me in line, the blank face responses and no sense of homer they gave was rude. Then I received my food with all hard, burnt, crunchy tortillas. I live right down the street and come consistently, but you got one time to play with my food. I have no problem giving my money else where. I love the food, but I will never be back to this spot again. Sometimes attitudes a lot when dealing with another race.

Went here on a whim and so glad we did! The food and service was great and everything tasted so good. Reasonably priced and loved that it was open late night

I'm so happy I found this place. First you order and then you go to the window where they prepare it for you and you get to choose the toppings.First time I went it, was Taco Tuesday, street tacos $1.99. They were sooooo good. The meat was great quality. So fresh. It was a bit busy but that is understandable because of the discounted tacos. So you order first, then wait in the line to get your food. The employees were very nice and quick, great atmosphere, lots of seating. Clean as well. They have a lot of fruit drinks offered. Like a lot. Next time I will definitely try one.

Been in line for 34 minutes. Tacos are ok but NOT worth a over half an hour line. The guys making the tacos must not me real taqueros because they just too slow. Maybe recruit some fast taqueros and then this place will be worth coming to.

My experience at this restaurant ended on a bad note, which may have skewed this review, but nonetheless...here goes.We were greeted by a friendly young person, who took our order. My wife & I both, ordered the identical order-1 Birria Taco, 1 Carne Asada Taco & 1 Carnitas Taco, because we wanted to try a sampling of their fabled tacos. My wife ordered a Watermelon Agua Fresca, to drink.I was disappointed I couldn't get a cold beer here, to wash my tacos down with, as only bottled water, several sodas, & their assortment of Agua Frescas were on the menu, to drink. No beer sold here, nor could I get a glass of iced tea, which is also one of my favorite beverages. They give you a ticket, with your order on it, which you'll then pass to the person assembling tacos, up front, behind a plexiglass panel. When your order is ready, they'll call you, to collect it. While you await your food, I suggest gathering some of their homemade salsa, from the self-service Salsa Bar, & you can also get sliced cucumbers, radishes & limes here. There are plenty of tables, within this rather sizable restaurant, so only in extremely busy times, will there be no place to sit & eat, inside Frida's. They have a roll of paper towels on each table, & you'll definitely need these, when you start devouring their small, overstuffed & extremely tasty tacos. Inevitably while eating, some parts or juice from the tacos, will leap out & run down your chin, or do the full jump, down to the table. My biggest problem here, was somewhere in the meat of the first taco I ate, was a bit of bone, or something hard & unyielding, & while chewing my food, it chipped one of my bottom teeth. This was kind of a buzz kill to my overall dining experience, & although the food tasted good, I probably won't be back, unfortunately.

My friend recommended this place to me and now it's my go to taco shop when I'm in Oceanside! You order first and then follow the line and give the taco guys your ticket and then they prepare your order. Tuesdays will be busy so prepare to wait during prime dinner hours! The meat is tender and full of flavor and their tortillas are so good, not dry like some other places. Their must get is their fruit waters!! You can also pay for an additional refill and it's less than buying another fruit water!
